The Lonely Island – Saturday Night Lyrics

[Intro]
Hey, what’s up, man?
Nothing?
You’ll never guess what happened! Check it, last Saturday my main chicken was like, “You need to take me out for a bubble bath, oil massage and candle light dinner.”
Oh, oh, hell not!
That’s what I was saying! I had to tell her like this:

[Chorus]
Saturday night is not for romance
You got a whole week to get into girl’s pants
Got ladies in the UK and ladies in France
But Saturday night? I’m in my b-boy stance

[Verse 1]
Ahh, Saturday night is the night after Friday
I’m thinking ’bout fly-ass girls out on the highway
I push my celerator and beep my horn
It’s not a night for dancing, a night for porn
It’s jerking in the bathroom [?] with my fellas
I’m talking these broads like rain to umbrellas
Saturday night ain’t time for the chick
It’s time for thе fellas to watch porno flicks
I’m poking through a hole, no one can tеll
I’m going to bathroom, ring my own bell
Ring the alarm but I’m not the douche naked
It’s Saturday night and I’m darting these chickens
Wake up on Sunday, taste food in my mouth
Monday back come, the chicks in the house
Tuesday now, I’m back with my girl
Never let her know about my Saturday war

[Chorus]
Saturday night is not for romance
You got a whole week to get into girls’ pants
Got ladies in the UK and ladies in France
But Saturday night? I’m in my b-boy stance

[Verse 2]
Chilling with the girls can be pretty cool
But kicking it with the fellas is a different world
A girl can never understand what it’s like to be me
I stand up all day, sit to go pee
Well, it’s guys’ night out and I’m feeling real horny
Roll to the store for a case of forties
[?] out the window
Let’s explore our bodies and smoke some indo
I’d rather watch TV and drink my Jack
I spent my whole Saturday on hitting from the back
Sure, it’s all good to get you [?] arm
But I’m a dude for all dudes and my word is bomb
Yeah, his words is bomb like the powder for your testies
I’m slithering my boys like [?]
I’m there for my dudes and it’s more than male bonding
I think it’s in the ass and men are responding

[Chorus]
Saturday night is not for romance
You got a whole week to get into girls’ pants
Got ladies in the UK and ladies in France
But Saturday night? I’m in my b-boy stance

[Verse 3]
Even though guys are better to bang
Girls stay nice like Michael Chang
Michael Chang no in a lot of Grand Slams
But his attitude is good so he’s the man
When we ram about tennis you know we’ll always be drunk
My man, Michael Chang’s got legs like a tree trunk
Michael Chang, he’s down with us
We’ve never hung out but we like him a lot
Even though he looks young on the tour he’s a veteran
A genuine role model Asian-American
C to the H to the A-N-G
Everyone looks tall from his POV
He may not know the feeling of victory
But he’s got a lot of H-E-A-R-T
We’ve never met Chang and that’s alright
He can still sleep over on a Saturday night

[Chorus]
Saturday night is not for romance
It’s a day for us to get into dudes’ pants
Whether it’d be Kurt, Michael Chang or Lance
Saturday night I’m in my b-boy stance

Popcaan & The FaNatix Samples Tanya Stephens Classic On “These Streets (Don’t Luv U)”

Popcaan links with The Fanatix and M1llionz on a new track.

The Fanatix returned with a hot new single that twins dancehall with UK drill. The new track, titled “These Streets (Don’t Luv U)”, features dancehall star Popcaan and upcoming UK drill rapper M1llionz. The song’s lyrics feature quite a bit of the Jamaican vernacular, even in sections performed by the UK rapper. This is understandable as M1llionz, who sports a Reggae Boyz jersey throughout the music video, does have Jamaican heritage.

The song samples reggae veteran Tanya Stephens‘ 2006 hit single “These Streets.” Tanya’s vocals are pitched to the tune of Alvin from the Chipmunk, which allows it to be properly layered over the bouncy elements that make up the drill beat. Fanatix paid homage to Stephens in a recent Instagram post. “Big up the legendary @iamtanyastephens for allowing us to sample her classic song “these streets”. This would not be possible without you guys,” they wrote in the caption.

The video for “These Streets”, which has amassed 481,000 views on YouTube in 5 days, was filmed in sections of Kingston and Miami. Unlike Stephens’ version that speaks of a man who is unappreciative of his woman, M1llionz and Popcaan showcase the gritty elements of Jamaica’s streets. Gambling, drugs, wholesales, and corner shops, and gun-toting gangsters are on full display. While it is an aspect of the country that many would rather remain hidden, the video clearly captures the realness of life in the “trenches” and how hard it is for a large percentage of the Jamaican population.

Fans of Popcaan and M1llionz have welcomed the collaboration with Fanatix and are predicting that the track will be a “banger.” One YouTube subscriber commented on the video, saying, “Whoever made the beat big up ur self, the Tanya Stephens sample mawdd,” while another said, “Popcan and millionz this gonna be a vibe.”

“These Streets” is the first single from The Fanatix’s upcoming album. Fans are anxiously awaiting the project, which will be the first for the group.

Stylo G’s “Dumpling Remix” Hit 50m Views Proving Spice & Sean Paul Pulling Power

The “Dumpling” remix has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube, and UK-based dancehall star Stylo G is ecstatic with the success of the track. He updated fans about the progress of the track and its success on Instagram.

Alongside a clip of the video for the remix, he posted: “50 million dumplings share out, world hit, just over a year we drop this”. There’s no doubt that the track was given a huge boost as two dancehall mega-stars, Spice and Sean Paul, jumped on it. Fans have definitely taken to the remix and can’t seem to get enough of it.

It was released in 2019 and is Stylo G’s most-viewed song on YouTube to date. The artist, who hails from Spanish Town, already found success with the original “Dumpling” track, but it got just close to nine million views since its release and pales in comparison to the number of views that the remix has gotten.

Spice was one of the first to congratulate the artists, saying: “A pure problem when this drop a mi show dem,” a fan added, “It’s been a long lockdown, ya’ll been on repeat,” and this one stated, “This could never get old!” Most of the fans simply commented with fire emojis when the post was made on May 11. So far, it has gotten over 25,000 likes.

It seems Spice and Sean Paul have the Midas touch recently as the two also helped out each other on one of Spice’s recent tracks called “Go Down Deh”, which was released on YouTube on May 1 and has already brought in close to five million views. Veteran Shaggy is also featured on that track. The track is on course to dominate as it debuted at #1 on US and Israeli iTunes Reggae, #2 in the UK, Italy, and Canada, and Top 10 on Apple Music, iTunes, and Deezer. Streaming of the track was recorded globally in countries like Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Stylo G is now known for his hit collaborations, including “Touch Down,” which he recorded with Nicki Minaj and Vybz Kartel and has reached about 19 million views since its release.

Dancehall Legend Baby Cham Calls Jamaican Gov’t Bias For Easing UK Travel Ban

Baby Cham speak on the Jamaican government lifting UK travel ban while ignoring the entertainment sector.

Most sectors of the Jamaican economy, like many other countries around the world, have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. The entertainment sector has staggered and tried as best as possible to keep up with the restrictions put in place to safeguard the country. With restrictions looking to be relaxed soon for UK tourism, veteran dancehall artist Baby Cham is making his feelings on the way the government handled the pandemic known. He posted a clip of his recent track called “Lockdown” on Usain Bolt’s Clockwork Riddim. He made sure to include his more explicit lyrics in expressing his feelings on Instagram.

He also made his feelings known with the caption attached to the short video clip. He was obviously upset as he also made the caption in all caps.

“TOURISM BOARD AND THE HOTELS / RESORTS CRIED THAT THEIR BUSINESS IS DYING, SO THE GOVERNMENT IS OPENING THE COUNTRY FOR THEM ON MAY 1ST TO SAVE THEIR POCKETS!! PROMOTER, DJs, ENTERTAINERS, CORNER SHOPS AND THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY HAVE BEEN CRYING (TO DEAF EARS) THAT THEY TOO ARE DYING – BUT THE GOVERNMENT HAS IMPOSED STRICTER “LOCK DOWN” ON THEM!! WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR? WHO PUT YOU IN POWER?? WILL YOU POLICE THE HOTELS AND TOURIST THE SAME AS YOU POLICE THE PEOPLE???” he posted.

The “Ghetto Story” deejay is lashing out at Jamaica’s Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett, who recently announced that the travel ban on the United Kingdom, which was supposed to end last Friday, April 30, would not be renewed. The ban was part of Jamaica’s Disaster Risk Management Act to help mitigate the spread of the UK variant of the virus.

“On Saturday May 1, Jamaica will reopen its borders to international visitors from the United Kingdom. This will enable the critical gateways of Heathrow and Gatwick airports, to have transit for passengers coming through and who are fully compliant with health and safety protocols required for international travel,” Bartlett said.

He added that the decision was taken to try and help boost the island’s economy.

“Jamaica’s position at this time is critical in relation to the opening up of the summer tourist season and in fact, the importance of enabling the diaspora, particularly the strong British clientele that have always come to the island,” he said.

Jamaica’s borders have been open since June 2020, and they’ve already welcomed about 1.5 million visitors. All visitors welcomed had a quarantine period and had to follow other health protocols. Cham’s take on the matter is that the hoteliers and others in the sector cried out for help and have been given it while the poor and disenfranchised have been left to fend for themselves. The part of the song he chose lamented all of these issues. For the most part, it seemed that his fans agreed with his stance.

“Unfair bad and it is not even funny. The government is not for the people who risk their life during election and put dem on power…. Set of dictators,” this fan said, another added, “@cham….pure double standard!!!! Do the jamaican govt realize sey a di people, di food, di place and definitely di music why most tourists come a yaad? The citizens, athletes and mostly of the artists promote the country and are the quintessential vessel in putting out Jamaica to the world. Tek care a u people dem govt of JA. U can’t have certain people a benefit in di country and the ones who put unu in postion a get constant raw deals.. get it under control quick,” and this fan chimed in, “Such everyone should boycott travelling there until its open for all. Most of the owners prob not even citizens. Although yes they employ them but still. That country is what it is because of what the leaders have done or more importantly not done to help the country as a whole and that goes for anyone who has a voice. Soooo many voices and I hear like 3. Why. Crickets and ants everywhere just like that Disney movie. Watch that. Same sht.”

Do you agree with Baby Cham’s take on UK tourists being allowed into Jamaica?

EU and UK enter a new dispute over Covid-19 vaccines

CNBC International TV shows how CNBC’s Silvia Amaro explains the latest battle between the U.K. and the EU over Covid-19 vaccines.
The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of 27 member states that are located primarily in Europe. Its members have a combined area of 4,233,255.3 km squared. The estimated total population is about 447 million. EU policies aim to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services and capital within the internal market; enact legislation in justice and home affairs; and maintain common policies on trade, agriculture, fisheries and regional development.
The EU has often been described by some as a sui generis political entity. Sui generis is a Latin phrase that means “of its/his/her/their own kind, in a class by itself”, therefore “unique”. A number of disciplines use the term to refer to unique entities.
After a decade of preparations, the “Euro Currency” was launched on 1 January 1999: for the first 3 years it was an ‘invisible’ currency, only used for accounting purposes and electronic payments. Coins and banknotes were launched on 1 January 2002, and in 12 EU countries the biggest cash changeover in history certainly took place.
The EU traces its origins to the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and the European Economic Community (EEC), established, respectively, by the 1951 Treaty of Paris and 1957 Treaty of Rome. The original members of what came to be known as the European Communities were the Inner Six: Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and West Germany.
Containing some 5.8% of the world population in 2020, the massive EU had generated a nominal gross domestic product (GDP) of around US$15.5 trillion in 2019, constituting approximately 18% of global nominal GDP. The European Union has a large global influence. The European Union has been described by some experts as an emerging superpower.
The United Kingdom (which also included Gibraltar) was a member state of the European Union (EU) and of its predecessor the European Communities (EC) – principally the European Economic Community (EEC) from 1 January 1973 until 31 January 2020.
UK recently rejected ‘false’ Covid-19 vaccine export ban claim by EU. EU’s top official claimed the UK had imposed an “outright ban” on the export of Covid vaccines. European Council President Charles Michel said it applied to all vaccines and components produced in the UK.
However, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab described the suggestion as “completely false.”
The understanding is, “The UK government has not blocked the export of a single Covid-19 vaccine or vaccine components.”

Canada: New coronavirus variants gaining ground

Global News shows that Canada is making progress reducing the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. After peaking at nearly 8,000 new cases in January, infections have now fallen to below 3,000 per day. However, the bad news is that highly-contagious new variants are gaining ground and have been detected in all 10 provinces in Canada. In the time of 2 weeks, the number of active cases in N.L. has jumped from 14 to 338 with 44 new cases confirmed Wednesday. It’s believed the spike has been driven by the U.K. variant. Scientists are certainly learning about these new virus variants. Some viruses have combined to form a mutated hybrid. It is not known if this hybrid poses a bigger threat.
Hopefully, a bigger third wave doesn’t happen with new virus variants.
British Columbia has now identified more than 60 cases of COVID-19 involving “variants of concern.” That includes the province’s single case of the variant B.1.525, the mutation first detected in Nigeria. The Nigerian variant is classified as a “variant under investigation,” because researchers are still trying to determine whether its mutations make it more contagious.
Experts say B1525, referred to as the Nigerian variant, should now be the subject of surge testing to limit the spread of the deadly virus. There have been 38 cases of the Nigerian variant identified in the UK as of Tuesday 16 February.
The Nigerian variant contains the same genetic change – E484K – also found in the Brazilian and South African variants.

Canada: Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine approval expected this week

CBC News shows that Health Canada is expected to approve the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine this week, which would make it the third COVID-19 vaccine approved in Canada. In South Africa, authorities have paused rollout of this vaccine after a study found it offers only limited protection against the coronavirus variant first identified there.
The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine provides good protection against the main type of coronavirus circulating in the UK. Trials suggest it protects against severe disease and there is some evidence it might also stop some people spreading the virus.
However, early findings from South Africa suggest the vaccine may need updating to be a better match for some emerging new variants of coronavirus. This could be true for other coronavirus vaccines, also.

Covid-19: UK ‘must come down hard’ on South Africa variant

BBC shows the interesting news about UK and the new South Africa variant.

Lucki – Greed Lyrics (feat. Lil Yachty)

[Lucki:]
I hear you’re looking for Candyman, bitch
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
All that greed, you should kill yourself
All that greed, you should, uh, ayy

All that greed, you should kill yourself
Been geeked, boy, I’ma heal myself
Another high-speed and she still ain’t ate
Sex, money, drugs, I can’t feel my face
Big bro Card in the VIP
Drive so fast, we don’t need IDs
Ho so pretty and she still gon’ bake
Another high-speed and she still ain’t ate

All that greed, you gon’ fit right in
Took a lil’ break, now I’m back, pop a ten
Super charged Tune, they gon’ hear it’s me
Burn this bitch down like literally

[Lil Yachty (Lucki):]
Put a bad bitch in the DDT
Fifty K earring, nothing cheap
Bitch and her friend wanna buy me Chrome
Sitting back, feeling like a P-I-M-P
Remember when niggas’d just give me hell

Rockin’ big clothes, like it’s twenty-oh-three
Pull up, 650, not G 6-3
Have a cookout, everybody get smoke
Niggas going through it, code green like a lima bean
UK bitches tooted up off of ketamine
Turn him to a pack, leave him stuffed like a figurine
Nigga think he fly? We gon’ give that boy a set of wings
Four in the two, shoot-shoot, that’s the regiment
My jeweler just made a light like he Edison
p*ssy grip tight, on the finger like a wedding band
Drop a new clip in the Glock, I slide in (Ayy, ayy, ayy)

[Lucki:]
All that greed, you should kill yourself
Been geeked, boy, I’ma heal myself
Another high-speed and she still ain’t ate
Sex, money, drugs, I can’t feel my face
Big bro Card in the VIP
Drive so fast, we don’t need IDs

Alkaline Nabs Pandora’s Reggae Now Playlist Cover As “Top Prize” Debut No. 1 On iTunes

Alkaline debuts at the top of the iTunes chart with her new song, “Top Prize,” after picking up the cover of Pandora’s Reggae Now playlist.

Alkaline has dropped some good news that his fans are sure to love as he announced that a new album is coming! We haven’t seen much of Alkaline, but we have heard him with hits like ‘Cree’ and ‘Ocean Wave’ released last year, but one thing’s for sure, any prolonged absence is usually a good thing for Alka, who doesn’t seem to fraternize much with the rest of dancehall.

In past times, the lyricist has been compared to the great Vybz Kartel, and there have been many so-called manufactured beef started by fans of the two artists. However, in spite of that, one thing we can agree on is appreciating good music, and Alkaline has never failed to deliver, so there are high hopes for his upcoming album.

According to Alkaline, whose real name is Earlan Bartley, the new project has 14 tracks and is named Top Prize.

He explains the motivation behind the name “[top prize] represents when you win a competition, basically showcasing victory against all odds. This album is timely with the opportunities I have been given, lessons learned along the way, my personal growth and experiences…experience teaches wisdom, so it is only fair that I bring everything full circle.

Alkaline’s debut album New Level Unlocked was released in 2016. It peaked at No. 1 and spent 18 weeks on the Billboard Reggae Chart. In spite of only releasing one album, his singles have also driven up enviable numbers! ‘ATM,’ released in 2020, has 23 million streams on YouTube. His streaming presence surpasses 30 million streams- on digital streaming platforms like Spotify- Canada, United States, the UK, African, and Germany.

He also retains a strong presence on Pandora with 39 million streams, which covers both radio and app, and has about 140,000 monthly listeners.

On Friday, Pandora Music made ‘The Man Himself’ as he is often called- the cover of the new Reggae Now playlist as he shared that the album is among the lineup.

Bless up @PandoraMusic for making me the cover of the New #Reggae Now playlist ??? #TopPrizeAlbum #TopPrizeAlkaline pic.twitter.com/8yj6DQEQw6

— ManHimselff (@THEALKALINE) February 12, 2021

He also has a preview of Apple Music released on Friday. The song that’s featured is called “Single” and starts with the popular Jamaican phrase “wha nuh dead nuh dash weh.”

Meanwhile, the female Detta fans are also loving the artiste’s new look, which shows him sporting natural hair plaited into sections and also sporting a neatly lined bushy beard!

Papoose – Trick You Off The Street

[Intro:]
It’s that real shit
I know what time it is
Papoose, Papoose

“Trick you off the streets” Lyrics continue below:

I wrote the buckle hustler and corrupt all towns
Youngest news tell the prompters and helicopters they juxtasomethin’
Ghetto abolition is ripped it up when I took the summonce
Inspired breathing dragon, emergence straight out of Brooklyn dungeon
Mama got the belt and whooped your ass real good for jumping
‘Cause she was baking a birthday cake and you shook the oven
Shot him in his head, I cried it the day they took my cousin
Shed so many tears, it looked like somebody cooked the onions
Back in the [?] by accident, the hood disgusting
And I ain’t used to everyone wearing mask, I’m just a Justin
I don’t need a key to start the Ferrari, is good for nothing
My ‘Rari it sparks
I pushed the button and tour in the UK
Twelve shows, I took a dozen
Rest in peace to Nipsey, just like Lauren I booked in London
Niggas fallin for anything
‘Cause they never stood for nothing.
2021 we ain’t having that, the hook is coming
And they belly up the beast, where you’re getting money
Niggas wanna start beef,
When you cook ’em,
than they start calling up police
Nice try.
You can never trick me off the streets
And they belly up the beast,
where you’re getting money
Niggas wanna start beef,
When you cook ’em,
than they start calling up police
Nice try.
You can never trick me off the streets

Popcaan Performs “Bank & God” For Vevo’s Ctrl.At.Home Series

Popcaan will go down in history of one of the greatest performers in dancehall’s history.

Popcaan has been getting much shine over the last few years as something of a savior of the genre on the international front, where the battle royal continues about what many see as Jamaica’s poor musical output. Still, the OVO Sound signee has landed collabs with some pretty stellar acts of late, which makes him deserving of the honor he has been receiving. So far, we have seen him working with Young Thug, French Montana, Jorja Smith, Maroon 5, Davido, Preme, and UK talents suck as Loski.

It’s only fitting that Vevo tapped into his “chilled, raspy-leaning cadence” for their Vevo Ctrl.At.Home. The series is not new to the island vibe, though, since the platform has already been blessed with performances from Lila Ike and Protoje with whom Popcaan recently collaborated.

Popcaan selected “Bank & God” from his recent FIXTAPE project for the one track performance. The video, produced by Micah Bickham, comes in the form of the greyscale shade the Ctrl.At.Home series is now known for. The video filter has a way of evoking an introspective type of vibe, which the Unruly champ capitalizes on while commanding his vocal dominance atop a hilly terrain. The only sources of human interference that lie between the lens are Popcaan himself, the clothes he adorns, and the microphone from which he sings.

“Only trust the bank & God,” he says, but the entertainer has clearly earned the trust of quite a few big wigs yard and abroad, and quite rightfully so.

Check out Popcaan’s smooth and groovy take on “Bank & God” for Vevo’s Ctrl.At.Home series below.

United Kingdom coronavirus death toll is 578

The number of people that died from coronavirus Covid-19 in the UK has jumped by more than 100 to 578 in the biggest daily increase to date.

A total of 578 who tested positive for coronavirus in the UK have died as of 5pm on Wednesday – an increase of 113 in 24 hours.

While in Ireland the coronavirus death toll more than doubled to 19 on Thursday, after ten more deaths were reported by the National Public Health Emergency Team.

The biggest daily increase in Covid-19 deaths came on the same day Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced self-employed people will have 80% of their average earnings paid for by the government.

The chancellor says 95% of all self-employed workers will be covered by the scheme, which is expected to be “up and running” by the beginning of June.

Coronavirus: Germany raises threat level from ‘moderate’ to ‘high’

DW News describes well what is going on with Germany. The Robert Koch Institute has changed its COVID-19 threat risk for Germany from “moderate” to “high.” The pandemic is a big threat. It’s possible that the pandemic and some imposed restrictions could last for two years.

The RKI also warned that an increasing number of COVID-19 infections cannot be traced back to certainly known cases. Germany currently has over 7,500 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 20 deaths.

Germany has a low coronavirus death rate compared to other countries. Germany’s numbers from the Covid-19 virus have puzzled scientists as nearby countries record high death tolls.

It seems that Germany has a fatality rate of just 0.2 per cent, compared to 7.9 per cent in Italy. This raises hopes Germany might be doing something right that other countries can follow.

Some even made allegations of a German cover-up. Some think that Germany may be at an earlier stage of the pandemic, and that German death rates may soon catch up.

Storm Dennis in UK: Flights cancelled and army called in amid strong winds and flooding

Evening Standard has an interesting video about Storm Dennis causing a second weekend of disruption with bad weather wreaking havoc across the UK. A body has been recovered off the coast of Kent following an extensive search operation. Unfortunately, heavy rain and strong winds have damaged the country. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has deployed British Army personnel to assist people in West Yorkshire. This area was badly hit by flooding during last weekend’s damaging Storm Ciara.

Certain flights have been grounded for safety reasons. Airlines such as British Airways and easyJet confirmed cancellations. Various sports events have also been canceled becasue of the bad weather.

Read more here:
https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/storm-dennis-latest-live-uk-weather-warnings-met-office-a4362841.html

Amazingly, warnings are in place across the whole country of the UK. The expectation is that there will be a month’s worth of rainfall in many places. There is even a chance that some areas could have a month’s rainfall in only 1 day. Frighteningly, some parts of the country may see up to 12cm of rain. Residents should consider whether they bought insurance in case of floods. By bad fortune or bad luck, hundreds of homes are now at risk of flooding.

Alarmingly, the dangerous floods are likely to be worse than during last weekend’s Storm Ciara. This is because the rain will fall on already saturated ground.

Unpleasant winds up to 70mph (113kph) are expected along coastlines.

The Ministry of Justice has said 75 personnel based in Catterick and 70 reservists from Yorkshire are constructing around 700m of barriers, helping to repair defences and lay down sandbags in Ilkley and Calderdale.

The presence of useful anti-flood construction crews is a reassuring sight for many residents. Community groups have worked hard to improve safety and manage the flood risk.

In the history of Britain, here are some of Britain’s worst storms:

1607 – Bristol Channel Floods

This sudden massive flood occurred on 30 January 1607. It resulted in more than 2,000 people drowning and destruction to farmland and livestock. For many years, historians believed the floods were caused by a storm surge. However, in 2002 scientists Simon Haslett and Ted Bryant published evidence that the flood might have been caused by a tsunami.

1703 – A Massive Storm

This might have been the worst storm or natural disaster to ever hit the United Kingdom. It happened with no warning. The storm battered the country for more than a week. Unfortunately, it killed between 8,000 and 15,000 people. Southern England was worst affected. This is where the first Eddystone Lighthouse was swept away.

1881 – Eyemouth Disaster

A tough storm struck the southern coast of Scotland on 14 October, 1881. Forceful winds capsized several fishing boats, and 189 fishermen drowned as a result. 129 of the fishermen were from the village of Eyemouth.

1891 – The Great Blizzard

The Flying Dutchman is a train that was derailed in the blizzard in Cambourne, Cornwall. For 4 days, Cornwall and Devon where almost wholly cut off from the rest of Britain. Many tress fell down. Temperatures plummeted below zero. Snow drifted in places up to 15 feet high. Unfortunately, 200 people perished. 6,000 animals died. Roads and railways became impassable. Telephone and telegraph lines were taken out of commission.

1953 – North Sea Flood

326 people drowned in this strong storm. It happened in the UK at the end of January 1953. The flooding forced 30,000 people to be evacuated from their homes. 24,000 properties were seriously damaged. 160,000 hectares of eastern England flooded. More than 1,600 km of coastline was damaged.

Germany: strong Sabine Storm (Ciara) is hitting Frankfurt

This strong storm is in Germany on February 9, 2020. The Sabine Storm is known by UK as Ciara. It is creating violent hurricane winds in Deutschland. The fascinating storm is hitting Frankfurt.

In Cumbria (UK), thousands of homes and businesses are facing days without water after a mains pipe was damaged during Storm Ciara on Sunday. The damaged pipe near Kendal threatened supplies to about 8,000 properties. Horrendous weather conditions were also hampering repairs. United Utilities said it had free water bottle stations across the area. Free water bottle stocks would be replenished throughout the day, United Utilities said.

The massive powerful storm is battering parts of north-west Europe with heavy rainfall and strong winds of up to 150km/h (93mph).

The Storm Ciara (known as Sabine in Germany and Switzerland) (Elsa in Norway) has caused 100s of flights to be grounded and rail services cancelled in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.

Much of the access to exposed areas such as parks and coastlines has been restricted. Motorists have certainly been warned to be careful. The weather conditions continue to cause severe travel disruption.

The damage to homes and cars caused by storm Ciara over the weekend could be up to about €150m, insurers estimated on Tuesday. More reports of massive damage will certainly be coming in the next few days. The stormy conditions are continuing. However, it seems that Ciara has done less damage than the January storm of 2018 which cost €450m.

International Airlines Group Stock Bounces Back Up

A lot of Airline Stocks bounced back up recently as coronavirus drug hopes rose. The troubled Airline stocks have bounced back after certain reports of a vaccine breakthrough in the fight against the coronavirus. Everybody is hoping that the vaccine can be developed as fast as possible. It also seems that the British Airways boss played down the virus’ impact on the industry.
Shares of International Consolidated Airlines (IAG) went up in the last 2 weeks. This happened as the sector made a recovery. This happened despite the virus death toll continually rising.
Investors have some comfort knowing that there is a slowdown in new daily virus cases in Hubei province. Beijing has also taken useful steps to put more cash into the economy.
A decade ago, creating the vaccine would be very difficult. Technology has improved. In modern times, scientists right now are trying to create the vaccine against the previously unknown virus fast enough to help end the outbreak of the virus.
They are trying to stop the spread of the new coronavirus that has already infected 10,000s of people (mainly in China). The virus has given rise to a respiratory condition now known as COVID-19.
Usually, making a new vaccine could take a decade or longer. Right now, researchers are optimistic that they can do it within months (by summer or autumn).
In medicine history, the first successful vaccine to be developed was introduced by Edward Jenner in 1796. It was the Smallpox vaccine.

International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A. is often shortened to IAG. It is an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company with its registered office in Madrid, Spain. Its operational headquarters are in London, UK. It was formed in January 2011 after a merger agreement between British Airways and Iberia, the flag carriers of the UK and Spain, respectively. As British Airways was the larger company, those holding shares in British Airways at the time of the merger were given 55% of the shares in the new, merged company. British Airways and Iberia ceased to be independent companies and indeed instead became 100% owned subsidiaries of IAG. It is the 6th-largest airline company in the world. It produced an amazing €24.406 billion revenue in 2018. The fascinating company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Madrid Stock Exchange. It is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index and IBEX 35 Index. The company was founded in 2011. The company serves a worldwide area. The company website is www.iairgroup.com.

Ten Typ Mes – Zegar Tyka Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Zdobywa serca i iPhone’y
Kontury zwłok
Miałyby na teksty lepszy pomysł

[Hook]
Zegar tyka, wódka paruje
Zarost rośnie, włosy robią się lepkie
Trochę czytam, myślę chujem
Wspominam radośnie jak byłem małym łebkiem

[Verse 2]
A cóż to za kwartał?
Kolejny szczyl na legalnym haju
A cóż to za kwartał?
Gubi wątek, zęby zgubi nazajutrz
A cóż to za kwartał?
Biją się o miejsce, o symbol
Dajcie mi pić w parkach! (Dajcie mi pić!)
Cała reszta? Cała reszta mi dyndo!

[Hook]

[Bridge]
Obok łóżka to mój drink

[Verse 3]
A cóż to za dzień?
Nie działa internet w całym mieście – nie wierzę!
A cóż to za dzień?
Ktoś szarpnął obrusem, tłuką się talerze
A cóż to za dzień?
Ludzie biegną, chaos i płacz

H16 – Sila Lyrics

Sila toto je sila
Sila, sila

Bože daj mi silu (4x)
Daj mi zdravé telo daj mi jasnú myseľ
Daj mi slobodného ducha ktorý dá tomu zmysel
Bože daj mi silu (4x)
Daj mi štít a meč v tomto boji
Bože dopraj svojim ľudom ved ty vieš že sme tvoji

Moja najlepšia kamoška sila, so mnou žila od kedy som mal tri a pol kila
A vždy keď píšem tie texty a dám to najlepšie zo mňa
Sú tam iba jedni stopy vtedy nesie ma ona
A keď kráčam temným údolím a stále som doma

Candan Ercetin – Bensiz Lyrics

Mevsimler bensiz kalacak
Sonbahar üzülür, dosttuk
İlkbahar belli etmez, eminim
Diğerleriyle sadece arkadaştık
Sıcak demeden, soğuk demeden

Tanıdıklar bensiz kalacak
Bazısı üzülür, dosttuk
Bazısı belli etmez, eminim
Diğerleriyle sadece arkadaştık
Yakın demeden, uzak demeden

Müzik bensiz kalacak
Ama devam edecek
Susmasn zaten asla
Vasiyetim bu deil

Sen bensiz kalacaksın
Belki çok üzüleceksin
Ama uzun zaman için değil, eminim
Sil gözünün yaşını
Elbette bekleyeceğim
Ve inan sadece seni özleyeceğim
