Intence Girlfriend Dancing Rebel Mourns Father’s Death Weeks After Losing Mother

Intence and his girlfriend are in mourning this week following her father’s passing.

It’s never easy losing a parent, and that grief is amplified even more when it’s two parents back to back. Unfortunately, that’s just what Jamaican entertainer Dancing Rebel, real name Chistina Nelson has faced in the space of just two weeks.

Still mourning the loss of her mother to cancer, she recently revealed that her father also recently passed away from cancer. She took to Instagram yesterday, November 10, to share her grief through a heartfelt post in which she said she almost lost him when she was five-years-old and that she wished they were on better terms before his passing.

“U fought a long hard battle daddy you weren’t perfect but I loved you, you grew a fighter idk what God is working out for me but I am numb my heart is weary! I can’t even cry. We almost lost you from 05 when you were shot and battled through that and sadly developed cancer even when you did nothing could change how you saw life! I wish our last conversation was an apology I wanted to heal but it wasn’t. I will miss you Rest In Peace daddy!”

Rebel, who is a part of dancehall artiste Spice’s dance team, received many words of comfort from her followers.

Waka Flocka Flame Deactivates Instagram After Coming For T.I. With Street Life PSA

Waka Flocka Flames went lights out on Instagram after seemingly getting called out for attacking T.I.

Following some scathing words for T.I. following his post calling for rappers to handle their beef on their own turf and not in Atlanta, it seems Waka Flocka Flame has deleted his Instagram account. That’s at least up to yesterday, November 10. Waka jumped into an online spat with T.I. following his post, which reads, “Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city.” Many associated T.I.’s post with the recent death of King Von following a shootout outside of an Atlanta Club on November 6.

Before deleting his account, Waka Flocka Flame basically accused T.I. of being a hypocrite. The rapper also considers Atlanta his home.

“Aye look, never talk down on people when you once was the person that you talking down on,” he said. “I don’t give a f#$k what the scenario is. Ever. And I’m talking about guys that come from the streets, not ones that say they did. Bruh, I don’t care how far I get in life,” he continued.

He followed it up with, “I would never look down on anybody in the streets or anything they ever do in the streets because I understand the laws and lifestyle that come with it and when you understand s$#t like that, a lot of things you not supposed to talk about. You not. Just sayin’. N**gas know what they signed up for.”

He’s not the only rapper to send a warning to T.I. as 50 cent also posted: “A @troubleman31 you gotta chill, you bugging for saying anything. They got casualties this is real s#$t, i don’t know what you was thinking but re think it now. They are hurting, they love that boy he was a way out. I bet you don’t even realize they will kill you for what you just said. what hood you from again? come on now it’s quiet time.”

The Shade Room caught what the rapper had to say before he deleted his account.

King Von’s Manager Refutes Asian Doll’s Claims On Rapper’s Last Words, Asian Responded

King Von’s manager is refuting Asian Doll’s claims about his last word and she is pushing back.

Over the weekend, fans, friends, and loved ones of rapper King Von heard the terrible news of his passing after a shootout that occurred outside an Atlanta nightclub. Since the incident, surveillance footage of the violent event has been circulating the internet along with rumors about what exactly occurred.

Asian Doll, who has been romantically connected with Von, took to social media to mourn Von’s death and post pictures of the two of them together during happier times. Now it seems she has also contributed to some confusion surrounding the last moments of Von’s life when she took to social media to share his alleged last words.

“Von last words was ‘y’all let them n****s get up on me….stop crying y’all let them get me,’” Asian Doll claimed in her post.

She went on to criticize the people in Von’s inner circle, insinuating that they left him unprotected. King Von’s manager, Jameson Francois, was present at the time of the shooting and was even shot himself. He has now chimed in on social media, seemingly in response to Doll’s accusations, saying, “Let one more person from the outside that’s close to Von keep on with all this goofy sh*t I promise I’m a expose all that goofy sh*t, cause I was there n got shot behind this y’all stop blaming people y’all don’t even know what happen or who was involved.” Francois ended his post saying, “That goes for x girlfriend family or who ever.”

Although Francois has also claimed that Asian Doll’s only proof of what went down is through her conversations with King Von in the afterlife via a spiritual adviser, Doll has now responded to the CEO by pointing to the surveillance footage as all the proof anyone should need. “We saw it. Everybody saw it,” she said. “The whole world said something about y’all. Not just me.” Whatever happened, let’s hope Von’s family gets the space and respect they deserve right now during this difficult time.

T.I. Tells Rappers Don’t Bring Their Beefs To Atlanta Amid King Von’s Murder

T.I. sounds off on King Von’s murder, telling rappers from other cities to settle their beefs in their home towns.

The violent death of King Von three days ago on November 9, has left many stunned, and the heavy hitters in the rap game have been calling for more peaceful ways to handle disputes. One of the OGs out of Atlanta, T.I., has called on Atlanta, where King Von was shot, to find a way to maintain peace in the area. He also called on rappers to handle their beef in their respective communities. He expressed the sentiments on Instagram in a post which he captioned, “Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city. Thx in advance. – King.”

Chicago rapper King Von was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta hookah bar on Friday, November 6. T.I’s caption was placed alongside an all-text post that read: “Atlanta is a beautiful city filled with black excellence. We uplift each other & win together. Stop coming here to kill each other. That s&*t is played out. Management.”

According to new reports from Investigators attached to the case, a shootout occurred outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge in the early morning hours of November 6 after two large groups of people got into an altercation. The information which was provided to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution also stated that this was the second shooting at the hookah bar in a span of 24 hours.

The day before the shooting, November 5, two people were wounded during another shooting incident. According to investigators, there’s no evidence that this shooting had anything to do with King Von’s shooting.

Atlanta’s police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek stated that bullets were flying in multiple directions across the crime scene. He said the entire ordeal was “pretty chaotic.” The two off-duty police officers who reportedly intervened were also injured during the melee.

“The officers did shoot, but we want to ensure we look at the evidence and be able to prove who did what,” Leek said. “That’s why we are dependent on the GBI,” he said.

A lot of fans agreed with T.I., but many others felt that he should have advised young black rappers to just stop killing each other, no matter where they are.

Tory Lanez Announces Release Date For “Memories Don’t Lie”

Tory Lanez announced the release date for his upcoming project Memories Don’t Lie.

The Canadian singer will be releasing his forthcoming album in less than two month, 39 days to be exact. Tory Lanez crack the mainstream market two years ago his island flavored project “I Told You” but since then he has been a bit silent on the music scene leaving fans yearning for his next body of work. Over the past months he has been teasing some new singles believed to be part of the upcoming project.

“MEMORIES DONT DIE – 3/2 …. 39 DAYS LEFT,” Lanez wrote on Instagram while announcing a March 2, 2018 release date for the album Memories Don’t Life. The singer also revealed a trailer for the project showing him standing in front of a G Wagon SUV. “A real father wants to know that by the time there child hits, you know 22, 25, you would love to know that your child gone so far beyond anything you’ve ever accomplished,” a voice over said in the short clip.

He also showed some clips from his childhood and images of himself as a father with his own son. The trailer help builds the hype around the project in a year when there are some highly anticipated hip hop albums. So far we’ve heard three singles that will potentially be on the album including “Real Things” with Future.

Quavo Reveals Producer Credits For “Culture 2”

Quavo shares the producer credits for Migos upcoming album Culture 2.

The album is coming this weekend and so far we know there is a bunch of big names producers who added their touches to the project. Not surprisingly, Quavo names himself on the production credits given that some recent news surfaced that he has been working on beats with Kanye West. He also named himself, Huncho, and DJ Durel as the executive producer of the album.

Other producers who received credits on the project include Honorable CNote, Ricky Racks, Buddah Blessed, OG Parker x Deko, DJ Durel, Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, Kanye West, Zaytoven, Murda Beats, Pharrell, FKI and more, The tracklist will arrive by tomorrow according to sources close to the Atlanta rap group.

Murda Beats and Cubeatz are the producers who worked on “MotorSports” a song Migos dropped last month with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. That track will be on the album. Pharrell Williams produced “Stir Fry” and C Note did some work on “Superstars.” Based on the available information, the album, Culture 2, will come with 15 to 17 tracks. There were some recent reports that Migos would be working with Kanye West for the album, but seems the G.O.O.D. Music rapper and producer will only make a small contribution to the project.

Culture 2 arrives on January 26th and is one of the most anticipated rap albums this year. Migos claimed in a recent interview with Ebro on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio that C2 will be the biggest album this year. Let’s see how the project will live up to that bold statement from the group. Rozay posted a picture of himself and his beautiful daughter and Kemp immediately posted a few messages on her IG story ousting the rap mogul as a bad father. She wanted to know why he hasn’t visited their son in over six months. Usually Rick Ross ignore her rants on social media about him but this time it seems she struck a chord when she brought his close friend and former manager Black Bo, who passed away in December, into their feud.

U riding with the Devil.” Sources told us that didn’t sit well with Rock Ross who felt like she is being a thorn in his side for months and its now time to put her in her place.

Rick Ross daughter and Tia Kemp got into a fight a few years back so perhaps that was what Rozay was referring to. The MMG rapper and his baby mama had a previous running in October last year.

Rapper Fredo Santana Dead At 27 From Kidney Failure

Hip-Hop is mourning the death of rapper Fredo Santana who passed away this morning from kidney and liver failure.

Santana, whose real name is Derrick Coleman, was age 27 at the time of his death. The full details surrounding his death is not yet available to the public, but his close friend Maxo Kream confirmed his passing on Instagram just moments ago. “Damn man I’m lost for words right now I’m cryin my ass off Fredo I love yu B**ch RIP a real Savage,” Kream wrote.

Since then a number of his rap peers including Drake, Lil Pump, ASAP Twelvy, among others have posted their condolences on social media. “Rest In Peace Santana, Drizzy wrote while Twelvy added, “Forever honorable we gonna miss you Fredo. His large fan base have also been sharing their responses on Twitter with most folks in a state of disbelief over his death.

Fredo Santana is a product of the vibrant Chicago rap scene. He has worked with the likes of Drake, Lil Reese, Chief Keef, and Kendrick Lamar. One of his most recent songs is “Been Savage” released in the fall of last year and has been doing good. Fredo posted a photo of himself in the hospital in October last year after suffering kidney and liver failure. Seems he never recovered from his health problems. Last year September, he publicly ridiculed fellow rapper Russ speaking out against the rampant drug use in hip hop. “Until I can stop thinking bout my dead homies an the trauma that I been thru in my life that’s when I’ll stop,” he tweeted.

Someone on Twitter said 50 Cent and Ja Rule beef is old enough to drive and it’s true. Migos Rapper Offset Says Sorry For Homophobic Lyrics

Migos rapper Offset issued a lengthy apology for using a homophobic slur in his new song “Boss Life” with YFN Lucci.

The song was released last month and the video for the single was premiered earlier this week and since then Offset has come under fire for one line in his verse. “I cannot vibe with queers (hun hun), I got the heart of a bear (huh),” the Atlanta MC raps. Folks on Twitter attacked him mercilessly calling him homophobic among other things.

Offset has since come to his own defense by issuing an apology on Instagram while letting everyone know that he wasn’t referring to gay individuals when he used the word queer in his lyrics. “I didn’t write the line about gay people,” he wrote. “I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people. My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I’m not in a place where I’m hating like that.

Offset posted a screenshot of the meaning of the word taken from Google. “When I wrote that I was thinking of words that could rhyme with the others (here, lear, solitaire, bear) and I saw this definition about her having a queer feeling she was being watched and it fit what I was thinking about a stalker creepy paparazzi situation,” he added. “To me that “queer” I don’t mean someone who’s gay. I mean lame people who film you, post it and stalk you. Lingo that means strange or odd. I M S O R R Y I A P O L O G I Z E I’m offended I offended anybody.”

Offset also spoke to his fans on IG Live where he further explains his stance on the issue and responded to the backlash.

Chris Brown and Jacquees Dropping Joint Mixtape

Chris Brown dropped a 45-track album in December and now he has a joint mixtape with Jacquees coming out.

Jacquees posted a video of himself and Breezy in the studio vibing to some new music while announcing that a joint project is on the way. “We dropping a mixtape f**k it,” he wrote. Breezy has been having an impressive run over the past few months and his hard work is paying off because the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently named him as one of the most successful R&B artists of all-time.

His massive Heartbreak on a Full Moon album was released in December with more than 45 songs and that project is already platinum. Last month, he was also awarded 40 plaques from the RIAA from some old and new songs that were certified gold and platinum but he never got his plaques.

Jacquees didn’t shed any more light on the new joint mixtape, so we don’t have a title or release date, but here is a video from their studio session.

Chris Brown also has some new music coming out with Joyner Lucas who announced on Twitter last week that the singer will be rapping on their new joint. “You ever heard Michael Jackson rap? Lol well Me and @chrisbrown got a lot of heat in the oven. No bull**** tho, breezy mite be my new favorite rapper. you’ll see,” he tweeted.

Last weekend, Chris Brown previews two new singles on Instagram that he has been working on since the start of the year. Let’s not for forget that he revealed in an interview in October that he has over 800 unreleased songs on his iPhone walking around with, so he is sitting on enough new music to release plenty albums for the rest of his career. G-Eazy Ended Partnership With H&M Amidst Racist Ad

G-Eazy is the latest celebrity to cut ties with H&M amidst racist ad that went viral.

The fashion brand has been getting some heat on social media since yesterday after it posted an ad on social media that wrecks of racism. Several celebrities who have been doing business with H&M have since cut ties including The Weeknd, who announced in a scathing tweet that he will immediately end his partnership with the brand. G-Eazy announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he too will end his partnership.

“Over the past months I was genuinely excited about launching my upcoming line and collaboration with @HM… Unfortunately, after seeing the disturbing image yesterday, my excitement over our global campaign quickly evaporated, and I’ve decided at this time our partnership needs to end,” Eazy wrote. The rapper added that he cannot allow his name to be associated with H&M as the brand quickly becomes toxic to any celebrity that does business with the company.

“I can’t allow for my name and brand to be associated with a company that could let this happen. I hope that this situation will serve as the wake up call that H&M and other companies need to get on track and become racially and culturally aware, as well as more diverse at every level,” he added.

H&M has since released a statement apologizing for the ad while vowing to get to the bottom of what happened.

Vybz Kartel Celebrates 42nd Birthday In Good Spirit & Marks Milestone

Vybz Kartel is celebrating his 42nd birthday today (January 7th) in good spirit.

The incarcerated dancehall legend received a family visit from his kids who were brought to GP on Sunday afternoon. A rep for his label told us that he is in good spirit as he marks another milestone in his life and career. “The Worl’Boss is in great spirit and despite his incarceration, there are a lot of things to be thankful for,” his rep said.

We’re told that this year will mark 25 years since Vybz Kartel been in the music business and despite being incarcerated since 2011, he is showing no signs of slowing down. “25 years in dancehall and still active and more relevant than 99% of the artists is something to be thankful for and something to celebrate,” his rep added.

Vybz Kartel started his dancehall career in the early 90s as part of the group Vibes Cartel. The group was later disbanded and he took on the name Vybz Kartel by just changing up the spelling. However, his big success didn’t come until the early 2000s when Bounty Killer took him under his wings and lifted him up from an underground act to the mainstream of dancehall.

Bounty Killer, along with several other affiliated dancehall entertainers including Sean Kingston, Popcaan and NotNice have since wished Vybz Kartel a happy birthday on social media. “1time fi a real G long live.. #morelife,” Popcaan wrote while Sean Kingston added, “Happy birthday to the greatest in dancehall music period… @vybzkartel 1 more year Pon dem!!! Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is serving a life sentence for murder. His appeal trial is set for July of this year. He is eligible for parole after serving 35 years of his sentence.

Young M.A. “I Lost 20 Pounds In Two Months” Preps New Music

Young M.A. has stepped forward to address her massive weight loss.

Reports have been circulating in recent weeks that the “OOOUUU” rapper has lost a ton of weight. Now she is confirming the speculations via her Instagram account and announcing some new music. Young M.A. didn’t wait until the new year to start her weight loss journey, but she did wait for the year to start to prep her new music. She revealed that she went on a strict diet regiment and regular exercise to drop 20 pounds in two months.

She cut meat from her diet including chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and turkey. Young M.A. also significantly slash her alcohol intake to only drinking occasionally in a social setting. Her discipline paid off big time. Here is what she wrote:

Young M.A. accomplished what even some of the most hardcore fitness fanatic finds difficult, dropping twenty pounds in a mere two months. The result is she feeling better physically and mentally. DJ Khaled is also looking to drop some weight after he became the newest face of Weight Watcher’s.

Cardi B Has Three Songs On Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Creates History Again

Cardi B is dominating Billboard Hot 100 to kick off her New Year.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper became only the third artist in history and the first rapper to have their first three Billboard Hot 100 songs to chart in the top ten simultaneously. The only other two artists to achieve this are Ashanti and The Beatles, according to Billboard. Cardi B joined the elites among artists last year when her debut single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” topped the chart making her the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill in the late 1990s to top the chart with a solo record.

Now Cardi B is making more history for herself once again on the most recognized music chart on the planet, the Billboard Hot 100. Her song with G-Eazy and ASAP Rocky, “No Limit” jumps one place this week to No. 4, while Migos’ “MotorSport” with Cardi B and Nicki Minaj holds firm at No. 7 on the chart this week. That’s two singles in the top ten where she is a guest artist on, but her debut single “Bodak Yellow” saw some resurgence over the holidays and jumped two places from No. 12 to 10 on the chart.
