You’re never too young to start yoga — just ask Drake’s son.

At the tender age of 3, Adonis has begun practicing his downward-facing dog and dolphin poses, along with his mom, Sophie Brussaux. It is not known exactly how long the “Laugh Now Cry Later” rapper and former adult actress were together, but they concealed Sophie’s pregnancy and Adonis’ existence until it was exposed by Pusha T on his 2018 diss track, “The Story of Adidon”. Drake subsequently confirmed that he was a father on his own album, Scorpion, and has since proudly showed off his son on social media.

The curly-haired child looked adorable as he appeared in his mother’s IG video, stretching out on a blue yoga mat with his face pointed towards the sky. “Yoga Sundays with my baby yogi,” the painter captioned the post in which the pair seem to be following a yoga routine on a tablet.

The little guy turned the big three last month, with Sophie posting a sweet tribute on Insta in which the Grammy Award winner was tagged. “Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux! 3 years ago, I was meeting you for the first time, after a long 24-hr labor. I’m so proud of the little man you’re becoming, I love you more than life. The world is YOURS! We did that @champagnepapi,” she wrote. Drake also shared photos with his son and a collection of balloons, writing, “Young Stunna.”

As Drake prepares to drop his 6th studio album, he has already expressed his thoughts that it will be disliked. “They hated on Views just like they will [Certified Lover Boy] but it’s music to evolve to,” the 34-year-old wrote in an Instagram comment. The new album is scheduled for release in January 2021.

The rapper dropped a handful of images of himself dressed from his head to his toes in Gucci wear to go with the revealing caption. It turns out that the pictures he uploaded were taken from the set of a music video shoot in Atlanta. In the caption of his follow-up post, he explains moving straight from a video shoot to the studio, which is definitely an indication of how he continues to stack his bread.

The revelation of his earnings follows him being sidestepped not once but 12 times by BET after he was nominated in 12 categories and did not walk away with a win. DaBaby’s response to the situation was to take the high road, however, this most recent mention about his doe seems too in line not to be a shade aimed at the media outlet.

Shenseea Toasts Romeich For His Birthday, “Grandpa Major”

Shenseea and Teejay took turns to toast their manager Romeich on his birthday.

There’s no missing Dancehall vixen Shenseea as the artiste has grown from strength to strength in recent years and has toured around the world performing to sold-out arenas. YG Shoots “FTP” Music Video With 50K Black Lives Matter Protesters In Los Angeles

YG’s next music video will feature a massive crowd of Black Lives Matter protestors in Los Angeles.

Protests are continuing to draw huge crowds across the country in response to racial injustice and police violence in America over the last week, including a Los Angeles event that attracted over 50k attendees. In addition to many other celebrities who showed up to show support and solidarity, rapper YG used the historic moment as a backdrop for his music video for “F**k the Police.” During a short clip released by TMZ, the Compton native can be seen facing the camera in a sea of protesters who are chanting the lyrics and dancing.

While the L.A. protest was minimally policed and remained peaceful, other areas of the country have experienced violence at the hands of militarized police forces while attempting to peacefully protest.

YG’s choice to film his video at a protest may seem opportunistic to some, but others argue that his decision to use the phrase popularized by NWA in the 1990s is appropriate for the circumstances, resonating just as deeply today with many Black Americans who feel that the institution of policing in America is in direct opposition to equality.

The L.A. protest included some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Jamie Foxx, J Lo, and Marlon Wayans. This large celebrity presence and the financial involvement of several major corporations is just one way that the current movement seems to be markedly different from past responses to incidences of police brutality.

In addition to the continuing discussion that seems to be staying in the headlines rather than falling by the wayside, policy changes and significant shifts within local governments have also been occurring across the country, making some activists and supporters express their optimism for the future of racial justice. While YG’s song may be well suited for the times, let’s hope that we are headed towards a future where such righteous anger is no longer necessary.

This year is not even halfway over, and yet it feels like we have had enough bad news for a decade. The recent string of racist murders and incidents of police brutality have caused some observers to express shock and confusion, attributing these events to the wave of terrible luck that is 2020. Some public figures are taking this opportunity to remind citizens who seem unaware that racism and police brutality are not a new phenomenon in America.

Amid growing unrest over the recent murder of George Floyd, rapper Meek Mill took to Instagram to post a picture of himself that he says is proof of his own injuries at the hands of police.

The picture shows Meek at a younger age, solemnly looking at the camera with a bandage over one eye and the other eye noticeably swollen.

The Philadelphia rapper has been outspoken about criminal justice and prison reform, even helping to establish the REFORM Alliance organization along with JAY-Z. The non-profit recently donated 100,000 masks to the Rikers Island correctional facility, the Tennessee Department of Corrections, and the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman to protect both inmates and staff during the coronavirus pandemic.

Hov and Yo Gotti recently helped inmates at Parchman to file two lawsuits against the institution for poor treatment of prisoners.

Issues of prison brutality are just one aspect of a larger criminal justice system that was built to intentionally oppress people of color in the U.S.

DaniLeigh Finally Speak On DaBaby Dating Rumors, Says “It Is What It Is”

Late last year, DaniLeigh choreographed DaBaby’s music video for “Bop” and romance rumors have followed them since. As tensions boil over in Minneapolis and the rest of the US, Lil Wayne has a theory about who is responsible for George Floyd’s death. Lil Wayne has now shared his thoughts on the matter while speaking with Fat Joe. Weezy suggested that the issue has to stop being viewed broadly by holding an entire race group or the police accountable.

“We have to actually get into who that person is. And if we want to place the blame on anybody, it should be ourselves for not doing more than what we think we’re doing,” he explained. The “I Do It” rapper also questioned how much declaring one’s anger on social media or wearing a protest T-shirt actually helps the victim or their family.

Lil Wayne is not the only big name in hip hop speaking out. Earlier today, 50 Cent weighed in on the subject after an African-American journalist from CNN and his crew were arrested live on television despite informing the police they were press, while a white reporter from the same network who was a block away was allowed to continue his work when he told officers that he was a member of the media. “One they let walk away, one they took to jail. This s*** is sad,” Fifty wrote on Instagram alongside pictures of the two journalists.

George Floyd was killed by a white police officer on Monday in Minneapolis, and protests have ensued while the topic of racism has been hit on everybody’s minds. The murder of Floyd was recorded by a bystander who witnessed him struggling to breathe under the officer’s knee, which ultimately claimed his life. In the days that have passed, mass protests have taken place in the Minnesota capital, and the four white policemen involved have been fired, with one charged with third-degree murder. The tragic incident has re-opened the debate around authorities targeting African-Americans and what can be done to change this.

The Bajan pop beauty posted a pic of herself a few weeks back and captioned it, “When you hang up on em, then call right back. #firstofallimcrazy #secondofalliwasntdone.” Chris Brown has a song on his new album Heartbreak On a Full Moon titled “Other Ni**as” where he sing some similar lines.

“Oh girl, why you gotta be like that? (Girl, like that) / Why gotta hang up on me then you call right back? (Back) / How you compare me to them ni**as that you gave your heart to? (Heart to),” Chris Brown sings. Rihanna made her Instagram post a few days before Brown drop the album and some fans are now saying that he might have given her a copy of the project before it was released, which means that they are secretly communicating with each other. On the other hand, it could be just share coincidence that RiRi made a quote identical to Breezy’s lyrics just a few days before he drop an album, just how likely is that.
