The Diplomats rapper released a new single “La Havana” where he disses Kanye West and another unnamed rapper. It’s unclear what issued Cam has with Yeezy, but one line on the song has raised a lot of eyebrows and fans are searching for answers. Ye is currently working on his new album and it’s unlikely that he will let this slide given his personality.
“They can’t forget me, religiously in their memory, life of pablo, every other song the ni**a mention me,” Cam’ron raps. Surprisingly there was no mention of his foe, Mase, in the song which leads us to believe that he is done with that beef. The former Bad Boy rapper already claimed victory so perhaps Cam is now looking for another rapper to beat up on and Kanye West is the one he felt like deserves his attention.
Cam’ron has been subtle dissing Kanye West over the years but no one has really paid it much attention, but this is a different era of hip hop now where every rapper got something to prove, both old new. So the question now is, should Kanye respond to Cam’s diss on this new song or just let it slide? Cam was forced to defend himself recently after his former friend Mase rips him on a scathing diss record, “The Oracle.” He responded to that diss with “Dinner Time” which got a lukewarm reception from hip hop fans.
Mase sister has stepped forward to denied Cam’ron claims that he had sex with her.
Cam’ron has since responded to Mase scathing diss track “The Oracle” with his own diss record “Dinner Time.” The former Bad Boy rapper has since declared victory but there was one thing that his sister had to address. If you listened to Mase diss track, you would’ve heard a line where he accused Cam’ron of incest with his sister. Cam responded in his record denying the allegations while saying that he had relations with his rival’s sister.
The two Harlem rappers had a history going back to their teenage years so the big question is who is lying. “You done opened up a door, I’m petty, ready for war / I ain’t got a sister, only sister I f***ed was yours,” Cam raps in The Heatmakerz-produced diss song. Mase sister, Stason Betha, responded on social media categorically denying the allegations. “NEVER NI99A YOU IN A BAD FU**IN DREAM #wakeup,” she wrote.
Mase also called into Ebro in the morning yesterday to discuss his beef with Cam’ron more in-depth.
Just when we thought that Cam’ron and Mase made peace, the Dipset rapper offload a new diss track “Dinner Time.”
The former Bad Boy MC surprised fans last week Friday when he released a scathing diss track “The Oracle.” The song was the number one topic in hip hop over the weekend with Mase ripping Cam’ron on every line on the single. After taking shots at Mase all weekend on social media, Cam finally coughs up a response in the form of a song and he went in on the rapper turn pastor then rapper again.
“But who you talking tough to? Blinky just snuffed you / Puff f***ed you, we’ve seen in those binoculars / Passed you to 50, he was finger popping ya / Then he took it back like a fly b*tch that was popular / You’re 42 still saying “Ain’t no stopping ya” / You know my deals—liquor, movie, and flashy kicks / How you talking deals? Your last deal was ’96,” Cam’ron raps over a trippy beat. The Dipset emcee also denied allegations that he had sex with his own sister, saying that he doesn’t even have a sister. The diss track “Dinner Time” was produced by The Heatmakerz, who also produced another Dipset record that surfaced a few days ago that features both Jim Jones and Cam.
Over the weekend, the two rap veterans exchanged comments on Instagram signaling that they might have made peace and bury the hatchet. YOU STILL MY BROTHER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE…This was just for bragging rights #mase #theoracle,” Mase wrote to which Cam’ron replied, “Yea this was fun.. u still my bro too. Glad I get to brag lol. So when u leaving Harlem again? 2mr?” The Bad Boy rap legend then followed up with another post on Instagram. “Sometimes You Can Be Better Than Your Critics. #Mase #theOracle Keep All Secret Love… If it’s real post it or don’t tell me about it at all. #mase #theOracle,” he wrote in the caption of an iconic photo of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
