DJ Khaled Gave Ding Dong’s “Man A Star Blue Tick” Visual Some Strength

Ding Dong has officially released the video and song “Man A Star, Blue Tick,” and the single has gotten a major boost from internationally acclaimed producer DJ Khaled.

In a post on his Instagram page, Khaled shared a 22-second clip of the video, alongside the caption “Man a STAR!!!! [fire emojis] @dingdongravers @billboardselector” The video on DJ Khaled’s page has so far amassed 294,000 views in only 18 hours.

Among those in the comment section was Ding Dong himself. The deejay wrote, “Big look big look respect to the fullest bro [fire emojis] man a star.”

Shenseea, who shares the same manager as Ding Dong (Romeich), also commented on the post, writing, “Go fi dem @dingdongravers !!!”

In true Ravers fashion, the video, which was set in Kingston, features several dance scenes with Ding Dong’s crew. It showcases scenes of life in Kingston.

The song is catchy and sounds eerily similar to much of his previous works. Ding goes for simple and artistic with his lyrics.

The song was inspired by Ding Dong achieving his blue tick on Instagram last October. A blue tick is a verification badge given by Instagram which confirms that the account holder is the authentic likeness of a celebrity or brand. At the time of receiving his blue tick, Ding Dong had 945,000 followers. The deejay has since grown his following to just over 1 million accounts.

Shenseea’s Manager Romeich Mourns Death Of Brother Steve Major

Romeich Major is mourning the loss of his older brother.

More than anything these days, ill-health and death seems not just inevitable but abrupt. Unfortunately, many people have been suffering major losses in their families and among their friends. In the entertainment world, we have said goodbye to a long list of local and international stars as well and some are grieving the passing of their loved ones also. Head of Romeich Entertainment, Romeich Major recently took to social media to pay tribute to his brother, Steve Major who unfortunately passed away.

The artiste manager, who manages Shenseea, Ding Dong, and Teejay, revealed that Steve was one of his eight siblings. He says his big brother who was living in New York at the time of his death was one of the closest ones to him. While Romeich did not mention a cause of death in his posts, he mentioned how we should all treasure life while we have it. “Life is a rear Gem have to protect it and treat it good for it to last as Long as possible,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “(R.I.P) to my big brother STEVE MAJOR you will be missed bro real general.”

Romeich also posted a reel of photos on Instagram along with a heartfelt caption lamenting his older brother’s passing and the impact he had on his life. “It’s never easy [losing] a love one,” he began. “No matter how strong you feel you are when they are gone all emotions in your body start to over work.”

Ding Dong and JDon Heights Drops Flashy “Feisty” Visual

Ding Dong has released his latest single, a collaboration with upcoming artist, Jdon Heights.

The song titled “Feisty” and its music video has so far worked up a number of positive comments from fans, who are convinced that this is a new summer jam from Ding Dong. The Ravers Clavers leader’s 2009 single “Holiday” was considered one of the best holiday tunes that year, as it captured the vibe of what summer was supposed to be like.

While Jdon Heights is still an artist on the rise, the 27-year-old has been gaining much more recognition this year, and his fans are speculating that this year will be the year of his big breakthrough. Jdon Heights is a part of Teejay’s Uptop Camp, and many fans were quick to point out their similarity in style and sound.

One person commented, “Who agree with me Jdon heights sound like teejay,” and another agreed, “Issa next Teejay.”

Still, Jdon has created his own identity, being an ambassador for Starbuds Jamaica, a local dispensary, and Lion Pride, Jamaica’s first rolling paper company. The song, posted on Ding Dong’s YouTube page, is produced by Sikes Misiq and chopped by African Kydd. It mainly surrounds the themes of material success by celebrating “name brand” clothes, cars, and accessories.

“Mi feisty nuh f**k, name brand alone cover mi knee cup. Style dem when mi see dem ntn nah neat up, a bigger engine buy an now dem better keep up” Ding Dong sings.

The song also includes the typical Dancehall themes celebrating women and money. The two artists are fashionably attired, flashing money, drinking expensive liquors, and basically “braffing” with women throughout the video.

The video moves from the setting of a house party to a pool party with women twerking in bikinis, giving off the summer vibe. The comment section of the video is also flooded with fire emojis and a number of other positive feedback from fans.

Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung – Ding Dong Lyrics

Ding Dong Kicked Silent Ravers Out Of Ravers Clavers Over Leaked Video

Ding Dong has some trouble brewing inside his Ravers Clavers crew.

Earlier this week, rumors began circulating via social media that popular dancer, Silent Ravers of the Ravers Clavers crew, was no longer a member of the famed collective. His exit was proceeded by a series of leaked videos of the dancer being caught in a compromising situation. There was a lot of speculation as to the validity of the stories that were being spread.

However, Ravers Clavers leader Ding Dong confirmed that Silent Ravers was no longer a part of the dance crew. The revelation was made via an Instagram Live session with selector and dancehall commentator Foota Hype. During the live session, Ding appeared a bit guarded about the entire incident while speaking to Foota.

While the head Ravers did not say much, the incriminating videos already captured the dancer allegedly seeking sexual favors from another male who goes by the name Lil Kev. The reported videos have since been shared numerous times and have left the entire dancehall industry in a state of shock. On Tuesday, Silent even deactivated his social media account before reactivating it on Wednesday to address the gay accusations via Instagram LIVE.

According to the dancer, he is not gay. He further explained that he made a mistake and was tricked by the person he was seen in the video with. During his IG Live session, he denounced claims that he had provided thousands of dollars to Lil Kev by reminding fans that he previously needed assistance after he lost his house twice.

Silent also mentioned that he was not fired from Ravers Crew by Ding Dong. He further defended his claims of being a heterosexual by swearing on his mother’s life that “Nobody or no bwoy or no girl, nobody can’t seh dem touch mi or me touch dem.”

Silent Ravers is credited for the popular dance “Flairy,” made popular by Ding Don’s track of the same name.

Sean Paul Announces New Project “Swiss Cheese Riddim” On December 4

Sean Paul got a new project coming next month.

Sean Paul’s latest project is one to look out for as the new riddim features some of the hottest names in dancehall, including international artiste Shaggy, Gyptian, and Christopher Martin. At a time when artistes are limited from performing before live audiences in Jamaica due to Covid-19 restrictions and very few touring opportunities existing mainly in the United States, many are turning to producing music as they wait out the standstill in the local and global economy.

This isn’t stopping major talents like Sean Paul from collaborating on new songs. Most of his works are always a hit and a teaser on this new riddim sounds like it’s going to bring the cheese from its streaming target.

Swiss Cheese Riddim produced by Sean Paul’s label Dutty Rock Productions, is due for release on December 4, 2020 with seven (7) tracks. The project features Sean Paul’s song “Make The Ting Tense.”

A preview promoting the album posted by Sean Paul has teasers from each of the songs but the catchiest of the lot might be Ding Dong’s Doin It Big with its bouncy riddim and no doubt new dance which has not been previewed by the dancer turn artiste as yet. The full songs are not available as yet but the riddim is available for pre-sale on all major platforms.

Ding Dong commenting on the teaser, said, “chap dem mi G.” Chi Ching Ching reposting the teaser, said, “me have banger on this one name #hotlikepeppaseed.”

Fans, on the other hand, seem to be attuned to the new riddim, with many commenting on their expectations and also complimenting the teaser with ‘fire’ emojis.

Swiss Cheese Riddim tracklist

1. Sean Paul – “Make The Ting Tense”
2. Agent Sasco – “Swiss Cheese n Cheddar”

Ding Dong and Bravo Drop “Dweet (Genna Bounce)” Video

Ding Dong and Bravo continues to get us moving with his new dance video “Dweet (Genna Bounce).”

Towards the end of the video, he injected his single “Flairy” a song that sparked some controversy last year when he took a shot at Busy Signal. The cut for “Dweet” was directed by RD Studios and starts out with a security guard patrolling an empty parking lot before sitting in a chair and falling asleep. The cut features several members of the Ravers Clavers crew doing the Genna Bounce dance.

“If yo waan look some gal, dweet, if yo waan leave wid yo friend, dweet, if yo waan smoke some trees, dweet, Mi no care who a frowns or a kiss them teeth, if yo waan buy out the bar, dweet, say yo ago mash up the club, dweet,” Ding Dong deejay. The Ravers Clavers leader is currently one of the hottest dancehall artists on the scene after scoring one of the most popular songs locally last year with, “Shoulda Fi A Fling.” Even the Jamaican Prime Minister got in on the action by doing the popular dance move.

Ding Dong says he has a lot in store for his fans this year. Watch the video for “Dweet (Genna Bounce)” below.

Busy Signal Drop Gritty Video For His Ding Dong Diss “Stay So”

Busy Signal drop a gritty music video for his Ding Dong diss track “Stay So.”

Back in October, Ding Dong drop a new single “Flare” where he took a shot at Busy Signal and everyone was caught by surprised given that the Ravers Clavers deejay is not known as a war deejay. It didn’t take long for Busy to respond with a gritty diss record “Stay So” and now we have the video and its even grittier than the song.

The video concept is like a short film with some familiar faces that are cast in past music videos for Vybz Kartel. The cut was directed by Dameon Gayle for Warrior Musick Productions. Spice Responds To Beenie Man “King of Dancehall Is Incarcerated”

Spice is not too happy about Beenie Man statement over the weekend about her being the new queen of dancehall.

The “Sheets” deejay react via Instagram on Monday calling the dancehall legend a hater just because she thinks that Vybz Kartel is the king of dancehall. “D Rasta man [Beenie Man] vex true mi say a Kartel a the king a dancehall,” Spice said. “Smh Veterans want to be praised for paving the way but still never want to let go or embrace the New artiste. You crowned yourself king when yellow man was really the king and then over the years you were found fit after repeatedly self proclaiming it.”

From around the mid-1990s, Beenie Man proclaimed himself as the king of dancehall and despite some rejection from some artists and fans at the time, it eventually sticks. There is always a debate in dancehall about who is the king, but there has never been a real debate on who the queen is until now because Lady Saw fittingly wore that crown for the past two decades. Spice has now stepped up to plate and crowned herself and that territory comes with controversies.

“Unlike bounty killer who highlighted so many dancehall careers what did you ever do for dancehall after so many years as the “KING” Not even a one girl yu never buss as a dancer much less not even your own daughter a Ding Dong haffie dweet Kmt,” Spice added. “Saw left a huge shoe to fill and no female will fill it overnight. Nothing is wrong with your sentence “The Queen got baptized” we all know that, but you also do know that the king is incarcerated right.”

Spice also used the opportunity to promote her new single with Beenie Man’s ex-wife D’Angel, “No Worries.”

Busy Signal – Busy Signal – Bad Wine (Slap it Up) | New Song

Busy Signal come through for a bad wine from the baddest chicks in the dance.

The Turf boss drop a new track “Busy Signal – Bad Wine (Slap it Up)” produced by his in house producer. Signal has been dishing out new music since last month including a new gangster anthem “Stay So.” “Bad wine gal gi mi a bad win / Gal yo bless so mi affi put yo to the test / Ask yo if yo pu**y fat and yo say yes,” Signal deejay.

Busy has yet to respond to a recent diss from Ding Dong in a new song “Flare.” “Mi no Busy Signal no call Gary,” the Ravers deejay sings. Perhaps Busy Signal is not feeling this beef or maybe Ding Dong is not a big enough artist to war with.

Watch Busy Signal New Vudeo “My Time Now”

Busy Signal drop the visuals for his single “My Time Now.”

The short clip was directed by Warrior Films JA and features the prolific dancehall deejay delivering a positive message to his fans. “Some a pree war youth wise / Pree house and car tell them say anno crime time now / Chill out in a mi house with wife and pitney them / More life deh pon mi mind right now,” Busy Signal deejay.

Last week, Ding Dong took a jab at Busy in a new song “Flare” signalling that there is a feud going on between the two artists. The Turf boss responded with a hardcore dancehall joint but never specifically name it as a Ding Dong diss record. Watch the music video for “My Time Now” below.

Ding Dong and Busy Signal Beefing

Ding Dong versus Busy Signal is the most unlikely beef in dancehall this year.

With Sting coming to an end last year, dancehall currently has no live platform for hard clash anymore, but that isn’t stopping artists from stirring up new feuds. Dancer turn deejay, Ding Dong, released a new single last week “Flare” where he took a surprising jab at Busy Signal leaving everyone to figure out what’s really going on between the two of them.

“Yo no see the Ravers crew flare / Mi diamonds a canary, every dogs wa mi roll with scary / Yo see me cloth and me car wash daily / A wah yo think man lame / Mi no Busy Signal no call Gary,” Ding Dong deejay. In one of his biggest singles to date “On More Night,” Buys Signal has a line that can easy be misinterpreted. “Hear me gimme one more night girl / A million more night cuz I can’t sleep without you,” Busy sings. That line can easily be confused with “Gary gimme one more night.”

Busy Signal drops a brand new track “Stay So” this week where he took shots at his haters. Some dancehall fans think that he is specifically taking shots at Ding Dong.

Alizee – La Guerre En Dentelles (5 Album)

Entre filles ça dézingue
Ça se règle à coups de flingue
Et ça en fait du Bang Bang
Entre filles ça se déglingue
Et c’est la loi de la jungle
Poupée vaudou, coup d’épingle
Entre filles c’est dingue

C’est la guerre des nerfs
Ça dégénère
C’est la guerre des demoiselles
La guerre en dentelle
Mais c’est la guerre quand même
C’est la guerre entre jupons
Entre copines ça se crêpe le chignon
Tout ça pour quoi ?
Tout ça pour un garçon

Entre filles ça tangue
Ça s’uppercut, ça s’étrangle
Ça joue à la guerre des gangs
Entre filles sonne le gong
Sur le ring ça fait Ding Dong
C’est d’la boxe, pas du ping-pong
Entre filles ça gronde

C’est la guerre des nerfs
Ça dégénère
C’est la guerre des demoiselles
La guerre en dentelle
Mais c’est la guerre quand même
C’est la guerre entre jupons
Entre copines ça se crêpe le chignon
Tout ça pour quoi ?
Tout ça pour un garçon

Soudain à ta porte sonne le gong
Dans ton judas la Joconde
Dans tes bras tombe une blonde
Elle a largué son King Kong
Ici ta rancoeur sucombe
Fini la guerre, l’hécatombe
On désamorce les bombes
Fini la guerre des nerfs
On récupère
On se rabiboche sur le dos d’un garçon
