50 Cent Weighs In Black CNN Reporter Arrest At George Floyd Protest

50 Cent has shared his reaction to a black CNN reporter being arrested on live TV in Minneapolis.

50 Cent is outraged just like the rest of us. The murder of George Floyd has left many raw as a reminder that racism is alive and well in the free democracy. The 46-year-old African-American man was killed on Monday in Minneapolis after a white police officer pinned him to the ground and placed his knee on his throat, depriving him of oxygen. A bystander filmed the incident in which Floyd can be heard gasping for air and saying he can’t breathe, and the video has since gone viral, bringing attention to the commonality of police brutality and the unfair targeting of African-Americans.

Since the murder occurred, the four police officers involved have been fired, and mass protests have ensued, particularly in Minneapolis, which is at the center of the heinous crime. CNN sent reporters to cover the rallies, and one of its journalists, Omar Jimenez, was filmed being arrested live on air. Jimenez, who is black, had shown a protestor being arrested and then found himself surrounded by several police officers who placed him under arrest and in handcuffs, despite telling police that he and his crew were members of the press and that they would gladly move out of the police’s way.

Aside from Jimenez and his crew being arrested without reason, a white CNN reporter revealed that he too had been approached by officers, but was allowed to continue working after informing them that he was part of the media. Josh Campbell conceded that he was treated far differently than his African-American compatriot, something which Fifty also pointed out on his IG. “One they let walk away, one they took to jail. This s*** is sad,” 50 Cent wrote alongside pictures of Campbell and Jimenez.

At the time of writing, the social media post has almost 80,500 likes, with many commenters agreeing with Fifty’s sentiments.

Lil Wayne Says “Everybody” Is To Be Blamed For George Floyd’s Death

Lil Wayne says “everybody” is to be blamed for George Floyd’s death.

As tensions boil over in Minneapolis and the rest of the US, Lil Wayne has a theory about who is responsible for George Floyd’s death. Lil Wayne has now shared his thoughts on the matter while speaking with Fat Joe. Weezy suggested that the issue has to stop being viewed broadly by holding an entire race group or the police accountable.

“We have to actually get into who that person is. And if we want to place the blame on anybody, it should be ourselves for not doing more than what we think we’re doing,” he explained. The “I Do It” rapper also questioned how much declaring one’s anger on social media or wearing a protest T-shirt actually helps the victim or their family.

Lil Wayne is not the only big name in hip hop speaking out. Earlier today, 50 Cent weighed in on the subject after an African-American journalist from CNN and his crew were arrested live on television despite informing the police they were press, while a white reporter from the same network who was a block away was allowed to continue his work when he told officers that he was a member of the media. “One they let walk away, one they took to jail. This s*** is sad,” Fifty wrote on Instagram alongside pictures of the two journalists.

George Floyd was killed by a white police officer on Monday in Minneapolis, and protests have ensued while the topic of racism has been hit on everybody’s minds. The murder of Floyd was recorded by a bystander who witnessed him struggling to breathe under the officer’s knee, which ultimately claimed his life. In the days that have passed, mass protests have taken place in the Minnesota capital, and the four white policemen involved have been fired, with one charged with third-degree murder. The tragic incident has re-opened the debate around authorities targeting African-Americans and what can be done to change this.

K.A.A.N. – Risk Lyrics

Play this song

[Verse 1]
I know you seen it, make it look easy
Want it done right, you better do it yourself
It’s my season, bet I get even
Tell them niggas it’ll be a cold day in hell
Before I fail
‘Til the motherfuckers wish me well
I’m at the top of the top like a citadel
I blow the whole bitch up like an infidel
I’m on your head like a motherfucking infrared
I need the cheese, I need the bread
My pull-out game weak, I’ma leave it there
They got a young nigga bringin’ out the motherfuckin’ beast again
Give me a reason to reach past reasonin’
I put a little on top, that’s seasonin’
To be honest I can’t see what y’all see in them
They distorted the truth like CNN
Then recorded the loop to replay again
I ain’t givin’ you the luxury
What’s enough for them is not enough for me
When you’re down and out, where’s the company?
I ain’t goin’ nowhere, y’all stuck with me
So I strongly suggest that you fuck with me
‘Cause there’s a bumpy ride from the other side, God

[Bridge]
Get it all, all that
Run it up, where it’s at?
Get a ball, and fall [?]
Get in line, fall in
Goddamn, Goddamn
They know, who I am
Goddamn, Goddamn
They know, who I am

[Chorus]
Bet I make a couple million ‘fore I leave, bitch
They don’t know the feelin’, they don’t do it like this
Shoot a lot of shots, but I learned from every miss
How the fuck you get awards if you never take a risk
Bet I make a couple million ‘fore I leave, bitch
They don’t know the feelin’, they don’t do it like this
Shoot a lot of shots, but I learned from every miss
How the fuck you get awards if you never take a risk

[Verse 2]
I took some chances, never took advances
Put a little speck of paint on my canvas
I dodged the cameras and the greasy handlers
I know that these deals all double-handed
I know that y’all niggas all lost and stranded
I see that these folks all lower the standards
Make a nigga wonder how the hell y’all made it
Must have lost your mind if you think I panicked
Feelin’ like McNabb with the way y’all scramble
Call me young [?] with the grip and handle
Boy, your flame went out like a dim-lit candle
Nigga, I don’t give a fuck, pardon my manners
How he switch that gear, hit the gas and mash it
I ain’t got no limit, I’m forever massive
This shit get deep, yeah, the game assassin
Gotta clean my cleats for the seasoned bastard
Niggas can’t stop me, I’m a fuckin’ monster
Yeah, so many words, I’m a fuckin’ problem
So it’s fuck what you heard, better call a Doctor
Receivin’ the propeller like a helicopter
Yeah, we been givin’ ’em hell, no other options
Livin’ by the code, the eternal doctrine
Goin’ for the gold ’til the throne is conquered
Ten thousand now is invested on this
I must-

JAY-Z Talks #MeToo & Trump “Shithole” Comment With Van Jones

JAY-Z is the first ever guest on Van Jones’ new show on CNN premiered on Saturday (Jan 27th).

Hov has been getting very candid in his interviews lately opening up about his private life and a bunch of other topics like politics in the age of Trump. During his sit down with Van Jones, JAY-Z spoke openly his the #MeToo movement, his marital struggles and Trump’s infamous “shithole” comment where he called countries in Africa that term. The “4:44” rapper calls the comments hurtful but says there needs to be a dialog if we are going to have any meaningful impact on racism in America.

“It’s like disappointing and hurtful, it really is hurtful more or so, everyone feels anger, but after the anger it’s really hurtful because he’s looking down on a whole population of people and you’re so misinformed because these places have beautiful people and have beautiful everything,” JAY-Z said on The Van Jones Show aired on CNN. “This is the leader of the free world speaking like this.”

JAY-Z added that this is something that’s been going on behind closed doors and made references to Donald Sterling’s infamous racist rant that ended up causing him to loose his NBA team, LA Clippers. “On the other side this has been going on this is how people talk, this is how they talk behind closed doors,” he said. “There was a moment when Donald Sterling had been exposed as a racist on this private phone conversation he was having and they took his team from him. It’s ok that’s one way to do it. But another way to do it is let him have his team and then let’s talk about it together and maybe some penalties. Because once you do that, all the other closet racists run back in the hole. You haven’t fixed anything. What you’ve done is spray perfume on the trash can.”

The rap legend delve a little deeper into the hot button issue of racism where he compared it to a trash can that will breed a superbug if you don’t disposed of it.

Yo yo
Badmon representin’
Yo yo

[Chorus: Joey Bada$$]
They say you never know what you got
‘Til it’s all up and away
And it’s so lonely at the top
Sometimes you wanna throw it away
But lately I’ve been talking to God
He told me Heaven is a way better place
So I’m taking everything that I’ve got
And I’m running away, I’m running away
I just can’t cope with the pain
You just won’t understand
Running away (away from here)
I’m running away
I just can’t cope with the pain
You just won’t understand
Running away (away from here)

[Verse 1: Joey Bada$$]
Gone like the wind, I can’t seem to win
I know the end is near, but I just don’t know when
Turn on to CNN, look at what I see again
It’s another black man, died at the white hand of justice
To tell the truth, man, I’m fuckin’ disgusted
I fear for the lives, for my sisters, my brothers
Less fortunate than I, let’s formulate a plan
I’m sick of holdin’ grudges, I’m loadin’ in all my slugs and
Aimin’ it at the judges, fuck the cops
Fuck the system and the government, you fuckers not
Protectin’ and servin’
You more like damagin’ and hurtin’
And letting off shots ’til you motherfuckers certain
He ain’t breathin’, you made it clear
"Fuck your breath, nigga," don’t even deserve air
Don’t even deserve shit, don’t even deserve nothin’
If black lives really mattered, you niggas would do somethin’
Instead we mean nothin’, in fact, we being hunted
They don’t want us in abundance
They know it’s strength in them numbers
That’s why they gave you one
The time is comin’, no discussion
If you ain’t got a gun, then you better start runnin’

[Bridge: Chronixx]
Run to the rock of my salvation (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Run to the stone that the builder rejected (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I run to aboriginal, Christ, Haile Selassie
Hear them call some other name
Them other guy nuh qualified
A long long time mi see ah idiot a try
Tell me America is the land of the free, that’s a lie
‘Cause nobody, nuh free ’bout yah
Bet how we leave Babylon, and go ah Ethiopia
And if you don’t believe we can achieve that
Then you is just another idiot or another

[Verse 2: Joey Bada$$]
Motherfucker, it’s the J-O-Z-I-F B-A-D-M-O-N
Come on, bring them M’s on in
I’m on the upside now, you can turn ’em M’s upside down
We ’bout to win, there’s an L for the other side of him
Most greats that you lost, I invite ’em in
To my soul, don’t you feel the vibes when I’m channelin’?
The innermost of my spirit been engulfed with plenty gold
‘Cause most of them labels throw pennies so
Who you think investin’ in penitentiaries though?
Same owners as them labels, same owners of your cable
Spoon feedin’ you fables, tryna keep your mind stable
Your eyes blind, and your skin’s hazel
The truth is under your nasal but even the air’s all fucked up
How we supposed to see stars? Chemical trails above us
Plus bunch of other shit that’s undiscovered
Detached from the roots since we set sail, my brothers
That’s word to motherland, sold us on stolen land
Visions from brother man, he seen us all holdin’ hands
Fifty years later, still see my brothers choked to death
R.I.P. to Eric Garner, only right I show respect
Nowaday they hangin’ us by a different tree
Branches of the government, I can name all three
Judicial, legislative and executive
Lock your pops away, your moms, then next the kids
It’s all consecutive, I’m just tryna break the cycle
I wonder if I’ll do it all before they take my life, yo
Crucify my image, the Lord is my witness
If them Heaven’s gates closed
I’ma break all them hinges for my niggas
Yes, I’ma break all the hinges for my niggas
Yes, I’ma break all the hinges for my niggas
Yes, I’ma break all

[Chorus: Joey Bada$$]
They say you never know what you got
‘Til it’s all up and away
And it’s so lonely at the top
Sometimes you wanna throw it away
But lately I’ve been talking to God
He told me Heaven is a way better place
So I’m taking everything that I’ve got
And I’m running away, I’m running away
I just can’t cope with the pain
You just won’t understand
Running away (away from here)
I’m running away
I just can’t cope with the pain

Train – The News (A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat Album)

[Intro]
Just in case I don’t make it home
Just in case I don’t make it home

[Verse 1]
Are you seeing this?
Was it your breath, or kiss
Upon my neck like this
Just like you took my dying wish
Now I’m all covered in red from your lips
Tweaking from seeking the way to your hips
Schizo from your finger tips
Can’t seem to stop this twitch

Are you tuning in?
The crowd is hollering
Jump, jump, jump, jump again
Camera crew is wearing thin
They wanna see me explode upon, emoticon
Oh, don’t you see the road I’m on?
I’m real bad, can’t quit
Baby, are you seeing this?

[Chorus]
Baby, turn on the news
They’re talking about me like I’m going crazy
Baby, turn on the news
Press record when I say it
Just in case I don’t make it home

[Verse 2]
Are you following Local 5 or CNN?
They asked me for my next of kin
Oh, I’m a wreck-ening
They think that they should lock me in
A rubber room, and then make sure I don’t hurt myself
Or someone else, or even worse, a nurse

Are you getting me?
They think that I’m crazy
But, baby, this cold straight white jacket
Don’t even phase me
Oh, I was playing them, tried to give me lithium
Didn’t know that I could swim home again
Come on, baby, let me in

[Chorus]
Baby, turn on the news
They’re talking about me like I’m going crazy
Baby, turn on the news
Press record when I say it
Just in case I don’t make it home

[Post-Chorus]
Just in case I don’t make it home
Just in case I don’t make it home

[Brigde]
Flashing lights are blinding all my sights
Don’t know if I’ll make it through the night
When you see me on your screen
Then you’ll know just what I mean when I’m saying
Home, home (home, home)

[Chorus]
Baby, turn on the news
They’re talking about me like I’m going crazy
Baby, turn on the news
Press record when I say it
Just in case I don’t make it home

[Post-Chorus]
Just in case I don’t make it home
Just in case I don’t make it home

J COLE – High For Hours lyrics

This is called being high as shit
For hours
That’s the name of this song nigga, “High as Shit for Hours”
Here we go, yeah

American hypocrisy, oh let me count the ways
They came here seeking freedom and they end up owning slaves
Justified it using what Christianity would say
Religion don’t mean shit, there’s too much ego in the way
That’s why ISIS is in crisis
But in reality this country do the same shit
Take a life and call it righteous
Remember when Bin Laden got killed, supposedly
In a hotel lobby after a show
Was noticing these white ladies watching CNN
Covering the action
They read the headline and then they all started clapping
As if Lebron has just scored a basket at the buzzer
I stood there for a second watch them high five each other
For real? I though this was thou shalt not kill
But police still letting off niggas in the Ville
Claiming that he reached for a gun
They really think we dumb and got a death wish
Now somebody’s son is laying breathless
When I was a little boy my father lived in Texas
Pulled up in Toyota, drove that bitch like it was Lexus
Put my bag in his trunk and headed off for Dallas
Out their for the summer feeling just like I was Alice
Lost in the wonder land where niggas still suffering
Just like they was back home and that’s wrong

So now its fuck the government, they see my niggas struggling
And they don’t give a fuck at all and that’s wrong, yeah

The type of shit that make you wanna
The type of shit that make you wanna let go
The type of shit that make you wanna
The type of shit that make you wanna let go

I had a convo with the president, I paid to go and see him
Thinking bout the things I said I’d say when I would see him
Feeling nervous, sitting in a room full of white folks
Thinking about the black man plight, think I might choke, nope
Raised my hand and asked a man a question
‘Does he see the struggles of his brothers in oppression?
And if so, if you got all the power in the clout as the president
What’s keeping you from helping niggas out?’
Well I didn’t say nigga, but you catch my drift
He look me in my eyes and spoke and he was rather swift
He broke the issues down and showed me he was well aware
I got the vibe he was sincere and that the brother cared
But dawg you in the chair, what’s the hold up?
He said there’s things that I wanna fix
But you know this shit nigga, politics
Don’t stop fighting and don’t stop believing
You can make the world better for your kids before you leave it

Change is slow, always has been, always will be
But fuck that, I’ma bust back, till they kill me
Change is slow, always has been, always will be
But fuck that, I’ma bust back until they kill me
You feel me?

The type of shit that make you wanna (Aight third verse)
The type of shit that make you wanna let go
The type of shit that make you wanna
The type of shit that make you wanna let go

Here’s a thought for my revolutionary heart
Take a deeper look at history, it’s there to pick apart
See the people at the top, they get to do just what they want
Till after while the people at the bottom finally get smart
Then they start to holla revolution, tired of living here, destitution
Fuck that looting, can you tell me what’s the best solution?
I used to think it was to over throw oppressors
See, if we destroy the system that means we’ll have less of greed
But see, it’s not that simple
I got to thinking bout the history of human nature
While this instrumental, play
Then I realized something that made me wonder if revolution was really ever the way
Before you trip and throw a fit over these words I say
Think about this shit for second, you heard the way
The children in abusive households grow up knocking girlfriends out cold
That’s called a cycle
Abused becomes the abuser and that how life go, so understand
Look at the power, but you know what power does to man
Corruption always leads us to the same shit again
So when you talk about revolution dawg, I hear just what you saying

What good is taking over, when we know what you gon’ do
The only real revolution happens right inside of you
I said
What good is taking over, when we know what you gon’ do
The only real revolution happens right inside of you

The type of shit that make you wanna (High for hours nigga)

J. Cole – High For Hours

[Intro]
This is called being high as shit
For hours
That’s the name of this song nigga, "High as Shit for Hours"
Here we go, yeah

[Verse 1]
American hypocrisy, oh let me count the ways
They came here seeking freedom and they end up owning slaves
Justified it using what Christianity would say
Religion don’t mean shit, there’s too much ego in the way
That’s why ISIS is a crisis
But in reality this country do the same shit
Take a life and call it righteous
Remember when Bin Laden got killed, supposedly
In a hotel lobby after a show
Was noticing these white ladies watching CNN
Covering the action
They read the headline and then they all started clapping
As if Lebron has just scored a basket at the buzzer
I stood there for a second watch them high five each other
For real? I though this was thou shalt not kill
But police still letting off niggas in the Ville

Run The Jewels – Thieves! (Screamed The Ghost) [feat. Tunde Adebimpe] (Run The Jewels 3 Album)

[Sample: Twilight Zone, "The Obsolete Man"]
You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one

[Verse 1: Killer Mike]
(Conversing with a ghost, conversing with a ghost)
He just leaving and he screamin’ Jesus
(He had the highest hopes, he had the highest hopes)
People yelling, screamin’ at polices
(Riots tonight, riots tonight)
Burnin’, lootin’, shootin’, takin’, thievin’
(Fire and light, fire and light)
Fill the air and most don’t know the reason
(Never knew his name, never knew his name)
But they know his problems and feel his pain
(Shit’s still the same, shit’s still the same)
We just prey off in they deadly game
(It’ll never change, it’ll never change)
Too much profit in it and it stay the same
(The facts still remain, the facts still remain)
You can burn the system and start again

[Verse 2: El-P]
(Spoke with a ghost)
Late night, same night, "God, let me sleep, please, I’m begging you"
(Said don’t be afraid)
Daylight might never break right again once they get at you
(Said you’ll never be alone again)
This house is haunted by pain transposed into revenue
(The murdered all stay)
That thing when your mind says "Run!" but your heart isn’t letting you
(Said we got an army now)
You strike ’em down, still they live inside hearts, hearts carry them
(The weapon is our memory)
Some get to count sheep, some gotta count kids that they burying
(I don’t wanna scare nobody)
Fears been law for so long that rage feels like therapy
(But I’m gonna make ’em remember me)
Nobody gets no more sleep till we teach them remembering

[Hook]
Thieves!
Thieves!

[Verse 3: El-P]
Coming live at five, we got new news breaking
You heard here first if you don’t die waiting
Hard to review the scene I just seen
I’ma try to convey, but it defies explaining
Started with folks just crying
Nothing but broken heart sobs and the shriek of the sirens
Right at the spot where the blood’s still drying
Then (My God) I saw it, the dead began rising
I don’t know much about science
But I seen an army of armed men stop and get quiet
Mist hung low like a prayer from a tyrant
Sky became black like the stars aren’t aligning
So many years of this violence
Now we’re surrounded by the souls of the dead and defiant
Saying "Look what you’ve done, you designed it"
When the bough breaks, hear the wraith scream, "Riot!"

[Verse 4: Killer Mike]
No more moms and dads crying
No more arms in the air
We put firearms in the air
Molotov cocktails thrown in the air
CNN got dummy Don on the air
Talking ’bout he smell that ganj in the air
Dummy don’t know and dummy don’t care
Get that punk motherfucker outta here
Aye, ghosts are walking
Ghosts are talking
Everything gon’ be different, mane
Shh, karma’s coming
Ain’t no runnin’
Death gon’ deal with the guilty, mane
The universe curses the killers, mane
Can’t keep killin’ God’s children, mane
A pound of flesh is what you owe
Your debt is due, give up your ghost

[Hook]
Thieves!
Thieves!
Thieves!

[Bridge: Tunde Adebimpe]
What have you done?
What have you done?
What have you done?
What are you making us do?
Thieves!
It’s on you
It’s on you
Thieves!
It’s on you
It’s on you
It’s on you
Thieves!

[Sample: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.]
I think America must see that riots do not develop out of thin air. Certain conditions continue to exist in our society which must be condemned as vigorously as we condemn riots. But in the final analysis, a riot is the language of the unheard

[Outro]
Thieves!

Jay-Z – Oh My God

Pops sped off, left mom with a bundle of
Joy of boys, smack dab in the jungle
Took tunnel vision, but he would soon become a mogul but
First he brought that crack back like a yo-yo though
Don’t play with my yo-yo, loco niggas in the hood
First niggas hating on me, its all good
I’m buying things like my shit don’t stink
Gucci links and Gucci gooses, watching too many movies
Bullet proof this,
Had some nerve like pulling toothes
When you 16, coming through roofless
Yea ya boy ruthless
Like ice cube was
Turn the whole city on I’m the new plug
So if this is ya first time hearing this
You about to experience
Someone so cold
A journey, seldom seamed the american dream
From the bottom to the top of the globe
They call me hov

They coming for me, wanna see me fall
They know my story, I been through it all
Nights I felt like dying, but I ain’t crying
What didn’t kill me, made me strong as I am
I am, I am
Oh my god, hov

Now I’m knee deep in the concrete
Like the streets made a quicksand that?s beyond deep
I got a chemical romance, two left feet
So now I dance with the devil please G.O.D.
Save me from the black parade, release me
My life like grand theft auto PSP
I’m in the Volvo, puffin on the lala
Ducking from the popo
Every time I drive by, say hi to the bad guy
All my mama friends be like,
Would you just look at him"
So sorry dear mama for your embarrassment
But give me a couple years pray ill never sin again
Got all these rapper dealers, trying to do me in
And all these little rappers don’t know how prepared for them I am (I am)
I’m feeling like the worlds against me, lord
Call me crazy but strangely I love the odds

They coming for me, wanna see me fall
They know my story, I been through it all
Nights I felt like dying, but I ain’t crying
What didn’t kill me, made me strong as I am
I am, I am
Oh my god, hov

Now these baby ballers, toy rappers
Calling out my name to bring the boy backwards
Shooting air balls at the basket
What you call money, I pay more in taxes
I got crowned king down in Africa
Out in Niger?, do you have any idea?
Sold out shows, albums his whole career
Jo-burg, Dublin, Tanzania
Lunch with Mandella, dinner with Cavalli
Still got time to get water out to everybody
Everybody, fall back
Y’all rapping, I’m reenacting
CNN, you see it’s accurate
ESPN, See me in action
Monday nights, when the half is
When you 10 years in, holla back then

They coming for me, wanna see me fall
They know my story, I been through it all
Nights I felt like dying, but I ain’t crying
What didn’t kill me, made me strong as I am
I am, I am
Oh my god, hov

A Tribe Called Quest – Conrad Tokyo (We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service Album)

[Verse 1: Phife Dawg]
Conrad Tokyo, Sapporo, pistachio
Just done mash a show, Dawg is off on sabbatical
Rather watch the Nixon shit than politicians politic
CNN and all this shit, gwaan move with the fuckery
Trump and the SNL hilarity
Troublesome times kid, no times for comedy
Blood clot, you doing, bullshit you spewing
As if this country ain’t already ruined
In lieu of these mumbling, fumbling
Swearing they’re the greatest
Online they debate us, if we different, then we’re haters
We ended our hiatus, the dogs looking for food
The nucleus is here now (ooo)

[Verse 2: Kendrick Lamar]
Toleration for devastation, got a hunger for sin
Every nation Obama nation, let the coroner in
Crooked faces, red and blue laces for the color of men

Devils and demons and Deuteronomy
Fumigate our economy, ‘lluminate broken dreams

Max Wonders – Grow Up letras

[Hook 1]
I don’t wanna grow up, no more
I don’t wanna blow up, no more
Got my adolescence on a necklace
I can’t let it go, I can’t let it, no
I can’t let it, no, no

[Verse 1]
What would my mama say
I ain’t been getting no sleep
Vices of being 18
Prices you pay
If you want your name on the screen
And flights getting paid for your team
Praise to the Lord
And screw all the powers that be
Cause they wanna throw away key
Keep us in cells
Then wonder why all of the peace
Is being disrupted in streets
But we raising hell
Lucifer scared of the teens
He seen ’em on NBC
CNN reasoning for all the children that bleed
The cop said that he tried to reach
Wish I was kid again
I wanna hang on the swings
Instead of hanging on the trees
Couple adrenaline rushes
Out racing all week
Shaking and move to the beat, yeah

[Hook 2]
I don’t wanna grow up, no more
I don’t wanna blow up, no more
Got my adolescence on a necklace
I can’t let it go, I can’t let it, no
I can’t let it, no, no (yeah)
X2

[Verse 2]
My Grandmother told me that I would great
See she died when I was ’bout 8
But she seen potential
So everything happening now
Was probably already fate
Don’t ask if I’m hungry
Boy, I already ate
We coming for more just to stock up the plate
Wasn’t satisfied with 2015
Baby, all I know is 2088
Jump off the roof
Into the pool
Your parents ain’t home
I’ll be over at 2
Or you could bring 2
Friends to my home
I might just have the juice
Least she tell me I do
She know I’m ’bout to blow
But I’m keeping my cool
That’s that humble approach
And she love what I do
Please don’t let that ego go to your head
If that’s what you’re on then you’re better off dead
It’s a revolution through the music
Every bar a desert eagle raised at your head
God I’m sorry if I’m heinous
I came a long way from pretending to be the red ranger
Now I’m channeling my anger
‘TIl I get that private plane inside the private hangar
Yeah

[Hook 3]
I don’t wanna grow up, no more
I don’t wanna blow up, no more
Got my adolescence on a necklace
I can’t let it go, I can’t let it, no
I can’t let it, no, no (yeah)
