The so-called platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus), sometimes referred to as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic, egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The platypus is the sole living representative of its family (Ornithorhynchidae) and genus (Ornithorhynchus), though a number of certain related species appear in the fossil record.
Together with the 4 species of echidna, it is one of the 5 extant species of monotremes, the only mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young (they are all native to Australia). Like other monotremes, it senses prey through electrolocation. It is one of the few species of venomous mammals, as the male platypus has a spur on the hind foot that delivers a venom, capable of causing severe pain to humans, indeed. The unusual appearance of this egg-laying, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed mammal baffled European naturalists when they first encountered it, and the first scientists to examine a preserved platypus body (in 1799) judged it a fake, made of several weird animals sewn together.

The COVID-19 outbreak is impacting Australia. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced an emergency response plan for coronavirus COVID-19. More people are staying home instead of going outside. Chinatown is now getting less daily customers walking in.
It’s possible that governments may order mass vaccinations of cities or groups of people. Sports stadia may be sequestered as quarantine sites. Police could be ordered to guard critical medical supplies for Australia (in the case of a greater pandemic). In a worst-case scenario, a pandemic outbreak could last a very long time. The country’s workforce would decrease. Australia’s GDP could decrease. Australia is now trying to create containment of the virus.
There are now 81,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases worldwide. They have caused at least 2,700 deaths. Only 22 have been identified in Australia, with zero deaths.

Immigration from Australia to Canada could happen. It’s interesting that Canada’s immigration rules allow Australian citizens to visit without needing to apply for a visa. However, if you want to stay in the country for longer than six months you will need to apply for a visa. If you are planning to work in Canada, you will certainly need to apply for a Canadian working visa.
Currently, visitors from Australia do not require an entry visa for stays of six months or less. However, Australian parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents are eligible to benefit from the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa provisions.
Australia permits ‘citizenship of 2 or more countries’, providing it’s legal according to all the relevant parties. So if you’re already a dual national of two other countries, and then you settle in Australia, you could eventually gain Australian citizenship and become a triple national.

Boeing’s 737 issues were pretty bad for the USA economy. Boeing’s 737 Max problem could cut 0.5 percentage points from USA GDP. Boeing recently decided to halt 737 Max production in January. This will cut 0.5% from GDP growth in the first quarter of 2020, analysts say. This particular model is Boeing’s bestselling plane.
The production pause is bad for Boeing’s supply chain. The company already has 400 undelivered planes in storage.
The “production” component of GDP includes investment in inventory or fixed assets.
The Boeing Company is an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, telecommunications equipment, and missiles pretty much worldwide. Boeing also provides leasing and product support services.
The company has interesting projects all over the world. Boeing has conducted autonomous teamed flights using small, unmanned jet aircraft in Australia. The flights involved 2 small aircraft and is part of its efforts to develop its Airpower Teaming System (ATS).
In the future, they will try more complex manoeuvres, increasing teaming formation numbers and more complex missions.
There is footage on the company’s social media accounts that shows 2 aircraft taking off and performing basic manoeuvres in the air together. The aircraft look small. They are remote-controlled aircraft with fixed landing gear. Boeing says they successfully hit speeds of 152kt (300kph).

Drake Calls For “Free Meek Mill” During Show in Australia
Drake joins the long list of rappers who are calling for Meek Mill freedom from prison.
The 6 God is currently touring in Australia and during his show in Melbourne on Saturday night, he paused for a few seconds to support the “Free Meek Mill” movement. We all know the history of Drake and Meek beef is littered with Ws and Ls with the Toronto rapper being the recipient of the Ws. The beef left a bitter taste in both rappers mouths and the two have not spoken to each other or made peace since.
During his performance, Drizzy spotted a fan wearing a T-Shirt that says “Free Meek Mill” and that’s when he paused to share his feelings. “I see you got the Free Meek Mill shirt,” the Views rapper said. “Free Meek Mill too, for real. You right.”
The Philly rhymer is currently serving 2-4 years in prison for probation violation. He was sentenced two weeks ago to serve time in a state prison, but the judge’s heavy-handed sentencing drew widespread outrage among the rapper’s fans and his celebrity peers including JAY-Z who wrote an op-ed in the New York Times speaking out against the justice system and its unfair practices towards African American male.
Drake seems to have the same feelings about Meek Mill’s sentence despite their differences. You can recalled, Meek was the one who instigated the beef when he trashed the Toronto rapper on Twitter while accusing him of not writing his own raps. Drake responded with two scathing diss records, “Charged Up” and “Back To Back.” The later went on to become an anthem and even earned Drizzy a Grammy nomination.
Earlier this year, Drizzy did an interview where he spoke about the beef and said that he and Meek will never be friends again. “That’s just somebody that I never wanna be friends with… I’m not trying to make any songs or be boys, you stay over there and I stay over here,” he said.

Drake Almost Put Hands On A Creep At The Crowd At His Tour Afterparty
Drake was very close to putting hands on a male creep in the audience on his tour’s afterparty in Australia.
The 6 God has been touring Australia and New Zealand since the start of this month and after performing at his sold-out show in Sydney on Wednesday night, he was performing at an afterparty at a club in Sydney when he called out a male fan for inappropriately touching the female fans in the audience. Some folks may argue that this happens in every club, but that is not the argument here, the argument is that it should not be happening.
Drake got word of the creep and told the DJ to cut the music so he can properly address the issue. “If you don’t stop touching girls, I’m gonna come out there and fuck you up,” Drizzy said. “If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m gonna come out there and fuck you up.” There was a security in the audience with a flashlight but it seems, in the end, no one had to take any more serious actions.
Drizzy has been getting applause from his fans on social media for taking action, especially with the widespread allegations going around of powerful men inappropriately making sexual advances to women. Drake marked the 6th anniversary of the release of his classic album Take Care, which was released on November 15, 2011.
